  • Mary Tzu: Can be argued easily that this is how The Boss is portrayed in MGS canon. According to EVA in Peace Walker, the only mission The Boss ever failed was assassinating John von Neumann, so her Mary Tzu qualities come from canon. Still, she wins some fights a little too easily.
  • Perhaps Possession Sue as well. How many characters seem to have a huge crush on Joy? It isn't a blatant Mary Sue, by any means, but the author's cosplay pictures say a lot toward Joy being her form of Wish Fulfillment.
    • But Joy was a Canon Sue to begin with, so it's not a stretch.
  • Man Child: Fury, Fear, and most obviously Sorrow. This is in YMMV because their childish natures may be an Alternate Character Interpretation rather than the author's intent.
