The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • And the Fandom Rejoiced: YMMV in that you whether you are a Nintendo 3DS ambassador or you aren't (and therefore you consider ambassadors to be lucky bastards), but when in December 14th this game was revealed (that is, confirmed) to be one of their promised rewards, well... the fandom exploded.
  • Fanon: When it was originally released, Minish Cap was believed to be the first game in the timeline. The guidebook Hyrule Historia later reveals that Minish Cap really was the first game in the timeline when it was originally released in 2004 and it held the position of first game in the timeline until 2011 when Skyward Sword which was set even earlier was released.
  • That One Level: The Temple of Droplets and Palace of Winds. The former for being your standard Slippy-Slidey Ice World, the latter for being really long. However, the Palace of Winds is also regarded as the Best Level Ever.
  • That One Sidequest: The cucco game. The cuccos you must find only appear when you start the game, idiot villagers will always get in your way and stall you, and there's very little time to complete the challenge even if you know exactly where the cuccos are.
