This page details both the Teen Nick channel and former programming block (TEENick).

Teen Nick is a sister channel of Nickelodeon. Originally spelled TEENick, it began as a celebrity-hosted block on Nickelodeon in 2001 (first hosted by Nick Cannon, and later by J Boogie). The channel's programming consists of Nickelodeon shows primarily aimed at teenagers, mostly off-network live-action repeats. However, there has been a shift in programming from series with older teens to more light-hearted shows showcasing younger kids.

The network is also known for its "NickRewind" block (originally called 'The 90s Are All That'), which showed reruns of Nickelodeon's 90s output. Oh, and on a thankful note, this block instantly became a huge ratings success, multiplying the ratings for its time slot by 850%. This block continued from 2011 until early 2022, when it was dropped after a few renaming attempts (first it was The '90s Are All That, then The Splat, then NickSplat, and finally NickRewind).

Nick Cannon is the honorary chairman of the TeenNick channel and apparently has some authority over programming, as he conceived and hosted the first annual TeenNick HALO Awards, an awards show awarding teens making a difference. Cannon was also the first host of the original TEENick block way back when it first aired in 2001.

The TEENick programming block was born in 2001 and aired Sunday nights from 6pm to 9pm EST. It later became the Spiritual Successor of the Snick block when TEENick Saturday Night took over SNICK's timeslot in 2004. It wasn't very notable or different than SNICK, except the programming was a bit more girl-orientated with occasional promos with fashion tips and such (TEENick Saturday Night was more boy-orientated). The block was hosted by J Boogie and lasted until 2009, when Nickelodeon phased out the name to avoid confusion with the upcoming TeenNick channel (which was originally announced as the 'TEENick channel').

When it launched as a channel in 2009, TeenNick took over the channel space held by The N (Noggin's teen brand, standing for Noggin), which had recently moved from Noggin to its own channel on December 31, 2007. The N's original shows were phased out of the TeenNick channel's lineup fairly quickly, leaving only Nickelodeon reruns.
