The New Kingdom

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Another RP that's part of The Verse of NationStates Roleplays by Nightkill and Nationstatelandsville, Nightkills Shit. Yep.

Camelot has fallen, it's King laying dead upon the floor of his own palace. A top his throne now sits his own son, Sir Mordred. Mordred's mother and Arthur's half sister, Morgause le Fay, now rules the lands through her son with an iron fist. Mordred's half brother, Agravain, the son of Morgause and King Lot, now presides over Lothain. The two great kingdoms are joined, and tyranny is spreading rapidly through Britain. Arthur's court has fled, the Knights of the Round Table disbanded. Even the wizard Merlin himself has been bested and trapped in eternal sleep by Nimue, who has sided with Morgause. Once more, the good people have been enslaved by wickedness. However, there stands one last beacon of hope. The young Sir Gareth and ever noble Sir Gawain have begun to form a rebellion against their own mother. Kay and Bedivere remain in Mordred's courts, acting as spies for the rebels. Lancelot and Percival have fled to the far east, bringing with them a veritable legion of knights (and Guinevere), remaining neutral and working to a greater purpose which none but they know. Galahad, who has been framed for Arthur's murder, has left for distant lands, searching for the missing Grail once more. You are the knights and wizards of the kingdom, those who shall decide which side will conquer. A new king has been prophesied and an era of even greater darkness readily approaches, one which may destroy even the current evils that rule.
