Basic Trope: A weapon or some magical spell that is specifically designed to remove clothing.

• Straight:
  • A blast from a wizard's spell causes Alice's clothes to come off.
  • Emperor Evulz creates an explosive compound effective only against fabrics.
• Exaggerated:
  • The wizard's spell causes the clothes of every person in the world to come off.
  • Evulz makes a nuke-scale weapon out of it.
• Justified: The wizard who originally created the spell needed to get rid of a cursed item that otherwise wouldn't come off.
• Inverted:
  • The spell puts clothes on the target.
  • Clothes are literally sprayed-on, with a spray setting into a fabric to produce comic-book tight clothes on demand.
• Subverted: The spell only removes Alice's jacket...
• Double Subverted: ...and her underwear.
• Parodied:
  • Every spell the wizard uses causes nudity.
  • And ages the target by fifty years.
  • Evulz threatens to shoot the Queen with a weapon containing his new "explosive" compound, demanding a ransom.
