anon1: Technically, the Drow could be sustaining themselves entirely on the power of rock, since Level 8 Bards can use Song of Sustenance once per day for free. Hell, they even have the right racial bonuses for it.
anon1: I'm the only one I know of who plays a Drow Bard though, so yeah.
anon2: That would require the population to be 1/10th Bard. Which would certainly be awesome, but seeing as I've never heard a Drow city described as "continuous Death Metal Woodstock", it's also probably not the case.
