- Evil Plan: The visible one is using Lawrence as a pawn to marry Charlotte and get her father's money and 'own this town'. The one beneath that is to use the money/power to provide his 'friends' with the souls of others so they won't take his.
- Fetish Fuel Station Attendant
- Hidden Depths: All his 'evil' is actually motivated by a hatred toward the rich and especially toward those born rich and do nothing, like Naveen.
- Inexplicably Awesome: How he first contacted his 'friends' or got that moving shadow is unknown.
- Ironic Death: After his amulet (on loan from his "friends") is shattered, he asks for more time to pay off his debt, after which they drag him off to their world. He got what he wanted, but he lost what he had.
- Jackass Genie: He'll make an offer that sounds like what his customers want when its the farthest thing from it. He's skilled at saying literally what he'll do but make it sound like slang and metaphor.
- Kick the Dog: There was a guy in the intro song that wanted a cure for his male-pattern baldness. Faciler's cure made him grow hair everywhere, and likely knew this would happen. It has nothing to do with his Evil Plan; just a quick buck.
- Large Ham: This guy knows his showmanship. Naveen fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Even in private moments he likes talking dramatically and gesturing with his cane.
- Lean and Mean
- Living Shadow: His can push his chair in and grab things for him.
- Manipulative Bastard
- Meaningful Name: 'Facile' is French for "easy", and he does live in the Big Easy.
- Morally-Ambiguous Doctorate: Its unknown what he's a 'doctor' of.
- My Card: "Tarot, potions, charms: Dreams made real." It has a skull on it.
- Names to Run Away From Really Fast: "The Shadow Man" is what the residents of New Orleans refer to him as.

- Obviously Evil: His card has a skull on it. Its kind of baffling that Naveen trusted this guy. But, to quote: "He was very charismatic!"
- Only Known by Their Nickname: The Bayou at least.
- Properly Paranoid: He doesn't like relying on his 'friends' because he knows they only want his soul.
