Insanity for Today by queencynder (Crossover [kind of], Original Flavour)

  • Synopsis: A crossover between Revenge of the Old Queen, Shock Treatment, and Rocky Horror... sort of a crossover - they all take place in a the same universe, with lots of the same characters. Basically, Sonny, the King of Transylvania, goes on a trip to visit his recently-found long lost mother, Janet Weiss. During his stay on earth, he meets the insane former "Miss Mental Health", Macy Struthers, who tells him to find her old boss, Farley Flavors. Deciding to listen to her, Sonny, Janet, and Riff Raff end up travelling around the world as they go on an adventure full of brainwashing, confusion, and insanity! And just a warning: this DOES have some shipping in it, but it's all very minor, and all apart of sort of a sub plot involving Riff Raff and Nurse Ansalong.
  • Comments: Reviews say "Loved the whole story - such a whacky and awesome idea - and so well-written", "I loved this whole story. Every chapter kept me in suspense!" and "I loved the whole story! it was such an original idea too!"
  • Note: Now has a Darker and Edgier sequel, and according to a recent update on the author's profile page, it will be a trilogy, will one more yet-to-be-made threequel.

  • Pairings: Frank/Rocky
  • Synopsis: Rocky grows worried after realizing that Frank has gone missing. The Artificial Human goes looking for Frank and finds him hiding in his (Frank's room, not Rocky's) and crying. It turns out that the reason why Frank is hiding from Rocky is because Frank has grown very fat from over-indulging in sweets and is afraid Rocky won't find him attractive anymore. In the end Rocky comforts Frank telling him that he still loves Frank even though he's gained weight and that he actually likes Frank's fattened form.
  • Comments: An adorable one-shot fanfic that remains in-character while retaining a surprisingly heartwarming ending between the two characters. Also notable for being one of the few "Weight Gain" Rocky Horror fanfics in existence.
