  • The Other Darrin: Other than Lon Chaney (Echo) and Harry Earles (Tweedledee), most of the cast was replaced for the 1930 film. MGM tried to at least bring back Victor McGlaglen (Hercules) and, thus, reunite the Three, but he was now under contract to Fox, so the part went to Ivan Linow instead.
  • What Could Have Been: The film was a hit, Lon Chaney's voice was perfect, and he seemed set to have a long fruitful career in talkies. Then he died.
