Count Fosco is a vampire.

He's an Affably Evil, Wicked Cultured Man of Wealth and Taste. The heroes note he is in extremely good shape for his age and that he even seems to get younger and more fit as the plot progresses. He has a mesmeric effect upon women and can communicate with animals.

• Highly unlikely:
  • Fosco wears expensive clothes and most likely used a mirror to see if they suit him. Vampires don't have reflections.
  • He is a big eater and his favorite food is tarts, which are full of sugar and fats. Vampires can only drink blood.
  • He also walks a lot throughout town, at day or at night. Vampires can't handle exposure to sunlight.
