The Create a new page button is broken.

Okay, I just went to the page, entered a name, clicked the button, and got a new page. So, necessary questions since your initial report is lacking in detail:
- Did you enter a page name first?
- What browser did you use?
- Does your browser have any kind of Javascript-blocking active?
I was being stupid and didn't think to enter the page name first.
Okay, cool. That's far better news than the alternative. And don't feel stupid, I've done the same thing a few times myself.
