I feel like that would be a slightly better name for the category as opposed to just "Magical Minority Person", but I'm not sure if it actually would be. What's your call there?
Also, I was thinking of helping out and moving the contents of the Magical Minority Person page to the category as well. That fine?
I noticed, thought I could help speed it along and save you a bit of work. If not, that's fine. Still wondering about your stance on the category question (Magical Minority Person v. Magical Minority Tropes).
I don't see anything wrong with it personally, but I'd poll the other admins (and users) before doing anything just to be sure. Put up a message in the forums and if no one comments in a day or so ping the Admins directly, at least.
