Why did you add Category:This Index Asked You a Question to Know Your Vines and Listing the Forms of Degenerates? The category doesn't appear to fit those two tropes.

...I have no memory of that at all. I cannot imagine why I did that.
Even weirder... those two edits are not in my personal contributions history. When I looked to see what context I did that in, I find my listed edits go directly from "18:29, August 29, 2019" to "08:24, August 30, 2019":
- (change visibility) 08:24, August 30, 2019 diff hist -17 Mind Control University Fixed bulleting, markup, excessive capitalization and grammar on what appears from its position to be intended as a new trope entry current [rollback 1 edit]
- (change visibility) 18:29, August 29, 2019 diff hist +36 Battleship (film)/Funny added text current [rollback 1 edit]
and both those edits happened at "21:07, August 29, 2018". In fact, I know for a fact I was playing RWBY Combat Ready with Peggy, Helen and Attila at seven after nine PM on Thursday night.
Something hinky is going on. I've reverted those two edits and changed my password, and I suggest that if you see any more dubious edits by me you immediately contact me about them on the DW forums. I'm CC'ing the other admins on this so that those with actual technical skill with the wiki might be implored to look in its guts and tell me why those edits are invisible to me on my contributions history... and how they happened in the first place.
EDIT: I haven't gotten there in my post-holiday review of Recent Changes, but I'm very curious what else might have been edited at 21:07 on Thursday night...

... and because the wiki is throwing a "Wikimedia\Rdbms\DBQueryError" error at me when I try to edit that post, let me just note here that I haven't gotten there yet in my post-holiday review of Recent Changes, but now I'm very curious to see what else might have been edited at 21:07 on Thursday night...
...and I just discovered I'm already well past that point, and Recent Changes will not show me enough changes to roll back to that period. Is there another way to look at change history more than 1000 entries past?
Considering that these changes are from 2018, I suspect Recent Changes is the wrong tool for the job. @Labster, do you know of a better tool to see edits on a particular day?
<facepalm> No wonder I don't remember making the edit on Thursday. I missed the year entirely. I plead exhaustion -- I got entirely too little sleep over the last three days, thanks to my wife's family.
I'm still curious, but now I'm not thinking someone somehow hijacked my account anymore.
Okay, knowing now that I'm looking at changes made a year ago, I can actually set the offset for my personal contributions page to zoom right in on that date. I can see that at the time (+/- 10 minutes) I was tagging pages with both "This Index Asked You a Question" and "Esoteric Trope Names". When I was doing that kind of thing last year I often had the category name on my clipboard and I pasted it into HotCat. I'll bet I misremembered what I'd had on the clipboard at that point -- especially since the last category I set right before those two was "Esoteric Trope Names".
Yeah, we've all done that.
Thanks for clearing things up!
