I went poking around, and we don't seem to have much in terms of categories related to veganism or even vegetarian. I know they're worth a Useful Notes page, but do you actually know any vegans or vegetarians? I'd love for this future page to be informed by someone who actually has personal experience with the diets.

The only dedicated vegetarian I knew went back to eating meat twenty-five years ago when she discovered doing so fixed some persistent health problems she'd been suffering. To the best of my knowledge I don't know anyone who's vegan. Then again I am only one of the mods, albeit one of the more visible ones, so I'm not the only person to consult. Perhaps if you posted a message in the forums, or pinged the other mods...

Well, I'm planning to start on the Useful Notes pages on both subjects, but one last question: What's the standards regarding Useful Notes? Workshop like other tropes?
You can if you want -- I did it with my most recent Useful Notes page -- but it's not required.
