Guys, If anybody can see this, anybody who are interested in Pokemon, may I ask for your help editing the page? It desperately need an update.

I want to create page for Pokemon X and Y and other next series including Masters.

There are actually already pages for X and Y, Sun and Moon, and Sword and Shield. We're fairly up to date on Pokemon games, though Masters and Legends Arceus don't have a presence here.

What seems to be the problem? I'm not particularly into Pokémon, but I wrote a lot of the guide/help pages for the wiki. If you just need help/instructions on what to do, might I suggest reading these pages?

Let me mention a few other things:

First, because of problems we've had with spammers and vandals, we use something called a moderation system here. Edits by new users go into a moderation queue where they are reviewed by staff members before they appear in the wiki proper. So your changes won't appear right away. Don't worry about it, and just wait for a mod to check out what you've created and give it their okay. If we take too long, feel free to poke us, but give us at least 24 hours, okay? We'll probably get to it before then, but we've all got lives and we don't always check the mod queue with every visit.

Second, if you haven't noticed, we have a consistent "look and feel" and functionality across the wiki. This is implemented with some very simple-to-use templates. The easiest way to make sure your new pages have all the necessary markup to work properly in the wiki is to use the ATT Page Creator (either through the link I just made there, or as the first link under "Troping Utilities" in the menu that runs along the left side of every page). Put the name of your new page in the fourth edit box on that page, where it says "Enter new work name", hit the blue "Create Works Page" button, and you'll be a dropped into an editor with the basic skeleton of a works page in place for you. There are instructions within the new page to help you. I'll just add that if you don't understand what something does, and there isn't a note that says you can safely delete it, leave it in place. It's almost certainly necessary.

If you ignore that advice and just dump a bunch of unformatted text into an empty edit window, your new page will not pass moderation. You'll also receive a "go back and do it right" note here on your talk page. The mod staff has way too much else to do to clean up after a lazy user like that, although we will gladly add little tweaks and improvements when we see they're necessary on a page that's otherwise okay. You don't have to be perfect, but you at least have to make a good faith effort.

Third: Don't cut and paste from TV Tropes. I can't emphasize this strongly enough. Your contributions will be checked against TVT, and if you've copied anything -- no matter how small -- your new page will not pass moderation. I won't go into all the details about this, but there are strong legal reasons for this. TV Tropes and All The Tropes have incompatible Creative Commons licenses, and we cannot use content from TVT unless you were the only person to ever work on it and have the legal right to give us a license to distribute it. If you want more information, check out our "Copyrights" page.

Fourth, a bit of advice: When naming any page for the Pokémon franchise, note that we use the name with the accented "é". Because it's annoying on some systems to find the keystroke or code to get that character, you can always just cut and paste the name from here or another page where it's used correctly. However, to help people find the page in our search function, you should set up a redirect that uses the unaccented "e".

Finally we strongly recommend that you read How We Do Bans Around Here. This isn't a threat -- this is the wiki policy strictly controlling how and when user bans can be applied by an Admin. We want you to be aware that unlike TV Tropes, we do not ban users on whims or because we're cranky -- and that you know what we do ban people for, and what it takes, so you can avoid future problems.

If for any reason you want to ping any of the mods directly, there are links to our user pages on the "Contact us" page.

Welcome to the wiki!
