However, your proposed new page, Taerel Setting, has been rejected in moderation because it was lacking practically all markup except internal links. As you may have noticed, pages here on All The Tropes have a common and consistent style, which we implement with page templates that incorporate all the basic markup needed to make them look good and integrate with the rest of the wiki. Your proposed page was lacking pretty much all of this. (It's also identical to its counterpart on TV Tropes, which would normally be another reason for rejection and a formal warning as we do not permit copyright infringement, but it's clear you're creating pages on both wikis at the same time.)

We strongly suggest that you re-create your new work page by using the ATT Page Creator, which you can reach either through the link I just inserted there, or as the very first item under "Troping Utilities" on the menu that lives on the left edge of every page. Go to the last input box, enter "Taerel Setting" there, and click the blue button that will light up. This will put you in an editor already populated with the skeleton of a work page containing all the basic markup needed, along with some helpful instructions to help you with stuff that may be confusing or unobvious. Insert your content into the page skeleton where indicated, and follow any instructions that you find useful.

Some advice for when you do that:

  • If you didn't keep a copy of your content offline, let us know. Your page has not vanished into the ether -- we can retrieve what you entered.
  • Don't delete anything in the page skeleton that you don't understand, unless there's a comment that says you can. Everything is there for a reason.
  • Doublecheck your trope links. You had several redlinks, at least one of which was because it was still in CamelCase. Others may reference tropes that we don't have, or which we have renamed (I didn't check). Preview your page to make sure your trope links are green. If they're blue, they're likely to redirects or disambiguation pages, and you'll want to get the direct links.
  • We strongly recommend you read these help pages before you get started:

Finally we even more strongly recommend that you read How We Do Bans Around Here. This isn't a threat -- this is the wiki policy strictly controlling how and when user bans can be applied by an Admin. We want you to be aware that unlike TVT, we do not ban users on whims or because we're cranky -- and that you know what we do ban people for, and what it takes, so you can avoid future problems.

Once again, thank you for registering and contributing to the wiki! We look forward to enjoying what you have to share with us!

Thank you for helping, it is my work (I made all the content on the page).

You're welcome!

One more help page I forgot to list above, which you may want to look at: Works Page Guidelines.

I hope my edit passes this time, I managed to to make it with the basic template.

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

One of us should get to it within the next day or so. We try to have a 24-48 hour turnaround but we can't always review the moderation queue as often as we should, so please bear with us.

I am worrying about it. Thank you though. I wonder how easy it is to get autoprolled so I don't have to wait 48 hours for my edits to go live

You need to have at least a few months' history of consistent good edits. It doesn't have to be a huge history, but at least a few dozen changes, I'd say. (Or the other way around -- a huge amount of good edits in a short time will get noticed.) "Good" here means useful, informative and/or insightful, and not requiring a mod to come in and fix grammar, usage and/or spelling. And no copyright issues or drama. If after all that the mod staff thinks you should have it (or one mod does, and no one cares to dispute him), you'll get the promotion.

It's not usually a quick process, but it doesn't take forever.

Thank you

You're welcome.

I saw no one else had addressed the page over the weekend, so I approved it this morning and spent some time cleaning it up, because I didn't want to kick it back to you again. But it it was missing a lot of necessary stuff -- for example, we do bullet points just like TVT and Fandom/Wikia, so not including them in the article was odd -- so I've inserted them. I also added a few other things -- like the URL of your wiki so people can actually, you know, find and read your stuff. I also renamed the article to simply "Taerel"; the word "setting" is redundant in this context, but I've left your original page name as a redirect.

Thank you for helping, I may have more tropes for it later, hopfully someone will come and help me trope it
