Please do note that this Fan Fiction include elements from the films in the recent live-action movie trilogy (Film) Transformers and the original 1986 Generation One animated film. Transformers: The Movie (1986).

Every Transformers fan has his or her way of intepreting their own version of the Transformers Universe, and this Fan Fiction is one of the many takes on that itself. An Alternate Universe/Adaptation Distillation drawing primarily from the Transformers Generation 1 and the (Film) Transformers with its sequels, but with some massive changes in its storyline, and then including a peppering (and sprinkling) of influences from many other Transformers Universes and Series. In actual fact, Transformers Alter Verse is meant to take all those stories, put them all in a blender, throw in some anime and western cartoon influences, and create some Crowning Moment of Awesome(s) for itself as a Transformers Fan Fiction in its own right. Also at the same time, this Fan Fiction tries to keep true to the Transformers Universe on a cohesive whole as much as possible, but deviates from some of the major storyline in the movie and cartoon series due to the large amounts of Transformers and Human Own Characters (Original Character [s]) introduced in the entire story. Of course, Your Mileage May Vary on the story and characters themselves too.

This Transformers Fan Fiction story is started back on March 8, year 2008 by a deviantart artist known as Taiya001 link here , and as of 2010, has approximately 40 plus chapters worth of stories and several drabbles that expands on the characters on each different faction, their thoughts and motivations behind the Great War, and bridge the gaps during the time skips between the chapters. The series is currently ongoing, but due to Real Life problems and day-to-day business, updates are few and inbetween. There are currently three major story arcs, and each consists of three chapters each, albeit like a trilogy, and they all have been posted. Regarding the plot of the Transformers Alter Verse storyline, please visualise in your mind a Transformers universe where things are quite vastly different. The Decepticons aren't that evil, and the Autobots were initially a corrupt government before the Great War. The oppression of the masses led to the rise of the Decepticons, who rose up and overthrew the Autobot Senate, and that eventually led to the outbreak of the Cybertronian Great War. Each battle waged on its surface took a toll on Cybertron itself and it became apparent that it was dying. The Autobots launched the Allspark into deep space to deny the Decepticons their prize, and fate itself determined the Allspark's journey to a little blue and green planet known as Earth. Optimus Prime gave chase when he received news that Megatron constructed the Nemesis to search for the Allspark in deep space, and their battle was waged across the stars until it reached Earth, where the war began anew once they awakened.

On one side, we have the heroic Autobots led by Optimus Prime, and on the other side, we have the (not so) evil Decepticons led by the charismatic Megatron. There are also many other races that were dragged into the massive Cybertronian Great War, chief among them were the powerful Nebulans and the enigmatic Seraphims. The Nebulans were first affected by the Great war when Thunderwing's rampage led the Cybertronians to their worlds, and the Seraphims were the only race that defied the Expansion of the Decepticon's Expansion Policy and made them pay heavily for every single inch of ground the Decepticons took from their own Empire during the Expansion Wars that was waged before the Transformers came to Earth.

When the Great War came to Earth, things took a drastic change. Megatron and the Decepticons require a Human factor in their plans to reacquire the Allspark, and this led to the creation of the Humanicons. (Human Partners of the Decepticons) Instead of the typical Transformer Human Characters like Sam Witwicky or Sparkplug, the Allspark was thrusted into the hands of a normal everyday schoolgirl known as Taiya Dalton. She formed a romantic relationship with Blackout of the Decepticons (Your Mileage May Vary) and later became the Head Commander of the afromentioned Humanicons. Megatron ordered Shockwave and Arkeville to create a Human Task Force to aid them in their conquest of Earth, with Taiya and Stephen Dalton being the first in row to become Humanicons. The Autobots, on the other hand, have also made their own human allies, and those special Humans have helped them come to terms with what the Autobots have done before and during the Great War.

Things took a drastic turn for the worst, when mysterious organisations are formed on Earth itself, uneasy alliances between enemies were made, and secret plans that had been created for the purpose of destruction were set into motion. Humanity was factured, and new factions rose from the ashes of the new world. With armies of both good and evil assembled and preparing for the inevitable war, and all the factions were gearing up for conflict, with all the players assembled and at the ready. The board is set and the pieces were ready to make their moves. The deadly game was on, but who will win in this Great War that has consumed whole worlds across the universe?

To make things worse, the forces of darkness were on the rise, with a shadowy being known as the Fallen planning to bring back his master: Unicron and his armies of darkness posing to strike when the inhabitants of life are at their weakest. After eons of torment, The Fallen and his Quirky Miniboss Squad escaped the Dead Universe to embark on a new mission for their dark master: The total destruction of Primus's sons, and forcing their universal change on everyone and everything they encounter on their way in order to pave the way for Chaos to reign. The Fallen needs a new fallen to jump start his plans, and he has found the ideal candidate on Earth, which turned out to be Taiya Dalton of the Dalton Twins.

This story is named by its creators by the term TFAV as its acroyms to differentiate itself from the rest of the Transformers Fan Fictions.   • A Girl and her Shapeshifting Robot Helicoptor: Don't worry, there's also A Boy and his Shapeshifting Car.
  • A God Am I: Primus and Unicron are gods in this continuity, although Unicron often tend to boast that he is the harbinger of death and whatnot. Primus (on the other hand) doesn't even bother to advertise, instead wishing to remain in planet form and connected to the universe.
    • Megatron does not believe in gods, but ironically the Decepticons tend to look up to him like one.
    • Galvatron, the dark nemesis of Megatron in this continuity, is firmly believing that he is one, much to his dark master's displeasure.
  • Absurdly Sharp Blade: Optimus Prime is fond of this. He has one energon blade in each arm that was said to able to cleave an Eradicon in half with one stroke during the battle of Iacon.
    • Divine the Seraphim's dual swords can slice through any type of enemy armour like hot knife through butter, and can also damage the Fallen minions due to its Applied Phlebotinum abilities.
  • Ace Pilot: Many examples in this Fan Fiction.
    • On the Autobot side, we have the Aerialbots and the various Autobot Seekers.
    • On the Decepticon side, we have the seeker trio ( Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp]] and the various other seekers. (such as Ramjet, Sunstorm, Slipstream etc)
    • the seraphims with their transformable mobile suits also count too.
    • The humans, on their F-22 raptors and various gunships, is worth a mention. expecially the GI JOES, NEST and FSOF.
  • Action Girl: Many examples in this Fan Fiction.
    • The female Humanicons of the Decepticon side. The female Decepticons also count too.

  • Action Survivor: Many of the main Original Character(s) have survived battles and conlficts that would have killed lesser characters, and they are doing a pretty good job at it. (so far) Applies to the Transformers too during their various battles.
  • A-Cup Angst: Depends on which female character you are talking about...Human or Cybertronian?
    • Most of the female characters are well-endowed, although that's not stopping the younger ones from suffering a case of A-Cup Angst when looking at their peers who have "assets".
    • Transformer-wise, not so much.
  • Adaptational Badass: The major Autobots and Decepticons again receives this treatment in this Fan Fiction.
    • Megatron was said to have gone solenoid to solenoid with Sentinel Prime and won the battle narrowly...by killing the latter in the Uprising Battle of Kaon.
    • Starscream was able to take on many Autobot Seekers and win, as well as decimating many Seraphim ships single-handedly alone. Playing Stepping Stones in the Sky with Human F-22 Raptors in the sky in the Battle of Mission City counts too. Truth be told, he was one of the major commanders of Cybertronians seeker fleet before he joined the Decepticons.
    • Optimus Prime and Ironhide actually fought back to back during the final defense of Iacon, along with the majority of the Autobots. Back-to-Back Badasses indeed!
    • Soundwave's cassettes, such as Rumble, Frenzy, Laserbeak, Ravage...as well as Blaster's Steel Jaw, Ramhorn, Rewind, Eject also counts too, as they can take on other Transformers many times their size...and give them a run for their energon.
  • Adaptation Distillation: This Fan Fiction series takes examples from both the television Transformers Generation 1 and 2007 Michael Bay Film series and its comic counterparts, and adds in characters and concepts from all over the Transformers Continuities and also includes some anime, game and other movie influences into its story concepts.
  • Alien Among Us: The Transformers had been hiding among the humans on Earth for a long time before their relevation in the modern years. The earlier Transformers have came to Earth in the distant past (about 17,000 BC) to build the solar harvester in plain sight of Earth's inhabitants, and the ancestors of humanity were little more than living in caves at that time.
  • Alien Invasion: There are some individuals and organisations among the humans on Earth believe that the Transformers are planning a full scale invasion of Earth. Unfortunately, they aren't very far off from the truth. Hence they have taken steps to ensure that this does not happen...by any means necessary. Subverted, however, in that the Autobots have no real reason to invade and the Decepticons either wanted to turn Earth into part of the Decepticon Empire or would rather Kill All Humans. The Decepticons Modus Operandi is to destabilise planetary government, escalate tensions, and then watch the race wiped itself out in global conflicts before getting their hands on the resources of the planet itself.
  • Aliens Speaking English: The Transformers learned English from the world wide web when they arrived on Earth, hence their ability to speak surprisingly good English when they inititated first contact with the humans. However, their manners and tone will vary from Autobot to Decepticon based on their specific preferences.
  • All There in the Manual: Supplemental materials that expands on the Original Character(s) background and the history of the cybertronians, as well as relationships between the Original Character(s), can be found in side stories written by Taiya001 and Victortky. The Transformers Alter Verse Drabbles was created to address this problem. Extra information like what happened on the Autobot Alliance front (as the story focuses more on the Decepticons and their Humanicons) could be seen in these drabbles to know what happened to the other heroes and heroines, their relationships with the Autobots, how Victor created his company, how the FSOF was created, how the secret organisation named Section 56 formed, and how the Autobots face political and military fallout with some human nations...etc
    • Some of the Deviantart discussions add to the overall storyline of the Transformers Fan Fiction and background details through its scattered ideas and bits of information.
    • Many Transformers characters have all or most of their characterisation provided in datatrack profiles written by the creators themselves.
    • Expect these MTMTE (More Than Meets the Eye) profiles to have Continuity Nod(s), Mythology Gag(s) and even lots of Continuity Porn inside.
  • Alternate Continuity: Played with sometimes. There have been some roleplay among the creators themselves to see what kind of alternate story paths and endings they can create.
  • Alternate History: This story tries to stay as true as possible to Real Life in this continuity/universe. Aside from some minor changes, Earth is pretty much the same in 2000s to present day.
  • Alternate Universe: Of course, this story is set in an Alternate Universe completely, which mean things may not work out the way it seemed, and unexpected things happened at unexpected times. Expect many Tropes to be played.
  • Exclusively Evil: Unicron, The Fallen and his Quirky Miniboss Squad plays this Trope painfully straight.
  • Ancient Astronauts: Two cases actually: One case is that the primes and a large group of cybertronians came to Earth to build the solar harvester in the distant past. Another case is that the Ark and the Nemsis crashed on Earth for another long period of time before the Transformers from both sides awakened. Kind of played with as the cybertronians influenced the Egyptians to worship the solar harvester as a gift from their gods in the Egyptian religions, which rises some eyebrows when revealed.
  • America Saves the Day: Played With. Some of the times they do, and some of the times they don't.
  • Ancient Keeper: Vector Prime (guardian of space time), Omega Supreme (guardian of crystal city and core of Cybertron), Metroplex, Trypticon and Gigatron (ancient warrior of Primus) all qualify as this. Some of the Seraphims, especially the High Council and the Ancient Ones, also counts as this.
  • Anti-Hero: Megatron counts as this in this continuity. Would be explored more later in the later chapters.
  • Applied Phlebotinum: Energon, the various Cybertronian artifacts, Sari's Key, and Victor's allspark charged Keycard, Mini-cons all count as this.
  • Arc Number: Repeatedly the number "13" due to the 13 Original Transformers created by Primus.
  • Armor-Piercing Slap: Happens from time to time...often used on characters who are Jerkass Jerkasses, and also used when the main characters need to bring each other out of some Heroic BSOD...or just to show their love in another way.
    • Slap Slap Kiss more likely in some cases for some couples in this Fan Fiction.
  • Arm Cannon: Most of the Transformers have arms that can become cannons. Those can put a clean hole through a human tank or a warship easily, with added explosions and detonations included.
    • Omega Supreme of the Autobots is a good example.
    • The Eradicons of the Decepticons are also a good example.
    • Shockwave is also counted as he has a cannon arm as his left hand.
  • Asskicking Equals Authority: Here's a helpful hint: his name starts with "M" and ends with "-egatron".
  • At Arm's Length: Tends to happen with the humanicons and the members of the Autobot Alliance for humour purposes.
    • The larger transformers can practically do these to the smaller transformers.
    • Played Straight to type among the Seraphims when in the Academy, complete with attempted windmill punching.
  • Asskicking Pose: Each major character, no matter human or cybertronian or seraphim, has one. This stance is often taken before dishing out major terrible damage to the villans.
  • Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: A common Transformers Trope in all continuities. Most of the time, you can tell a Transformer due to his or her name or abilities. They also choose an alternate mode that fit their personalities.
  • Attack! Attack! Attack!: Some of the Decepticons (examples such as Starscream, Cyclonus, Razorclaw, Onslaught) enjoy this particular tactic. Megatron doesn't disapprove, depending on his mood when the tactic is set in motion.
  • Attack Drone: The Predator (and many other aerial) drones utilised by Humanity counts, the Decepticons also have point defense drones that can attack when necessary, and the Autobots have these drones guarding the interior of Autobot City and Keys Tech Corporation.
  • Literal Attack Of The 50 Foot Whatever: Happens from time to time.
    • Played straight whenever the city sized Transformers appear such as Omega Supreme, Metroplex, Trypticon and Gigatron.
    • When the Seraphim warships and flagships transform into robot mode, this trope applies to them.
    • Primus, when in robot form to use his powers. Unicron, when he was able to devour a planet. Enough said.
  • Author Appeal: In the author's own words, Taiya001 apparently wants to create a Transformers Fan Universe on her own, with distinct influences from the movies, comics and cartoon.
  • Authority Equals Asskicking: Both Optimus and Megatron counts as this, but the Autobots make it an obvious point to praise Optimus for his exceptional leadership ability and Badass fighting style.
    • The Autobots, for some of the sub-groups, play this Trope straight.
    • The Decepticons' Hierarchy plays this Trope straight.
    • The Seraphims play this Trope to exaggerated amounts of awesomeness. Please refer to the Character Sheet for details.
  • Autobots Rock Out: The creators have been choosing theme songs for their characters, and often plays as a Theme Music Power-Up or mood song.
    • They have also chose songs to go along with their characters' action scenes.
  • Ax Crazy: Many of the Villans are this in the Fan Fiction. Some are moreso than others. Bonus points if you can guess who.
  • Back-to-Back Badasses: Happens in this Fan Fiction in spades.
    • Done by Vector Prime and Alpha Trion in the distant past, against the Fallen and his minions when the latter rebelled against Primus. Alpha Trion has the sword of Primus in this continuity, and can combine wth Vector Prime.
    • Optimus Prime and Ironhide, Jazz and Ratchet, Bulkhead and Bumblebee, Advocator and Cannonblower are these when they all fought in the Final Battle of Iacon against the invading Decepticons.
    • Optimus Prime combined with Jetfire, Skyfire, Powerload, Ultra Magnus and Gatling Guns Backpack and Divine Celestial Dagonair during the Battle of Sera Prime against the Decepticons during the climax of the Expansion Wars.
    • Optimus Prime and Armourhide (and sometimes Jazz) when fighting the Decepticons on Earth in some of the chapters.
    • The FSOF and NEST Troopers of the Autobot Alliance when in battle against the Eradicons.
    • The Humanicons when facing enemies of superior numbers, especially against Section 56 Troopers.
    • Optimus Prime and Megatron during the events of the Final Battle.
    • Divine and his lover Zoe (Battle Couple) when facing thousands of the Fallen Minions.
    • Done by almost all of the major characters in the Grand Finale, in the Final Battle against Unicron and his armies of darkness.
    • What? This Fan Fiction loves this Trope!
  • Back Stab: Starscream tends to do this at times, both literally and figuratively. Melvin, the son of Mark Mc Alister, is also one annoying backstabber, which is Exactly What It Says on the Tin.
  • Bad Future: Screw Destiny! This story will see the major characters Earn Your Happy Ending. With EXTREME PREJUDICE.
  • Badass Grandpa / Never Mess with Granny: Although Vector Prime is one of the first Thirteen, he was more than powerful enough to fight the various minions of Unicron although his age would make him a senior among the Cybertronians themselves. He can also fight Optimus and come out on top, as well as hold his ground against his traitorous sibling, the Fallen Alpha Trion, in this Continuity, is not one of the 13 Original Transformers, and hence he was unconfigured for battle.
    • Ironhide and Armourhide were considered this as well, as they were seasoned veterans and weapon specialists during the battles on Cybertron, and Ironhide carries enough weapons to make him a one walking robot battalion. Armourhide, the younger brother, was also one due to him able to lift things many times his size and not breaking a sweat. He was also a master when it comes to smashing scrapmetal out of Eradicons.
    • The Seraphims' veterans of the various military branches counts as these too.
  • Badass: And FRAGGING HOW! If you are a named Autobot or Decepticon, you are most certainly one of this. Megatron is an excellent example, as Autobot grunt troopers oil their pants when he shows up, and Optimus also counts too when you are a Decepticon Mook and you are facing him.
    • As long as you have the word "Prime" in your name, you know you are about to get your aft kicked. (subverted for some of the Primes however...)
    • The Autobots are Badass, especially their senior officers and commanders (such as Prowl, Kup, Ultra Magnus, Jetfire etc) under Optimus Prime's Command, which are Optimus's elite team. The Wreckers and the Harbingers are embodiments of this Trope.
    • The Decepticons have various sub-groups that are Badass Awesome, to the point of Crazy Awesome in some of the chapters. The new kid in the block, the Humanicons, are also badasses as well, with their own unique fighting styles and custom weapons.
    • The Seraphims come from a World of Badass , and each of them was granted a unique power by Primus that could easily make each of them a badass in their own unique way. They each control an element and are masters of pisonic and telekinesis powers.
    • Even the Fallen and Vector Prime are badass. Alpha Trion was one in the past, but that makes him a Badass Grandpa along with Vector Prime.
    • Heck, almost everyone in this Fan Fiction is a badass in his or her own right, and they often had a special moment to show it off.
    • This story has examples from all over the Badass page, truth be told.
  • Badass Automaton: Pretty much what describes the Transformers in General.
  • Badass Army: And How! Many examples in this Fan Fiction too.
    • The Badass Awesome Autobot Army and their powerful human allies.
    • The Badass Human GI JOES, NEST, FSOF and the massive US Army.
    • and there's Mark Mc Alister's personal Section 56 of Sector 7 Army.
    • and many others more to come...
  • Badass Crew: The Original Crew of the Ark and the Nemesis counts. The crew of the Xantium (The Wreckers) and the Goliath (The Harbingers) counts too. so is the crew of the Spirit of Fire and Glorious Destiny for the Seraphims.
  • Badass Longcoat: Victor Keys is one excellent example. Yes, he was always Badass as a human, but now he's a Badass Bookworm with a Keys Tech Corporation longcoat.
  • Bad Boss: Played With. Megatron certainly shows far less concern for his troops than, say Optimus Prime, but he's not above blasting nameless minions who disobey or even question his orders, but he doesn't sacrifice them unnecessarily as he would need every trooper he can get. You can say what you want about him, but Megatron leads from the front, and he'll make sure you don't forget it.
    • And depending on how well you follow orders and/or your usefulness, he'll be pretty flexible. Just don't fail him though, even his patience has a limit. When he gets angry, it's time to run for your spark. (or life)
    • Much like most continuities in other Transformers Lore, Megatron does treat Soundwave with a fair bit of respect, mostly because of Soundwave's loyalty. The other Decepticons? Not so much.
  • Battle Butler: Calgar, the Butler of the Keys Family. Oh so much.
  • Beam Spam: The Seraphims are fond of doing this in their Mobile Suits. So does the Autobots and the Decepticons from time to time, in the Final Battle, this Trope is all over the place, with More Dakka, Macross Missile Massacre and There Is No Kill Like Overkill included.
  • Beauty Is Never Tarnished: Averted. The Creators let their characters and Transformers get damaged and hurt when fighting, and those wounds need days, months, or even years to heal. The latter, on the other hand, will need polishing and spare parts replacement whenever necessary.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Bulkhead and Cannonblower can be gentle and friendly at times, but they can kick your ass all over the place when you push them over the edge. If it's a large transformer, they are the ones to avoid getting angry.
    • Divine can be nice at times, but when he's pushed past what he can tolerate, he will wipe the floor with his enemies.
  • Beware My Stinger Tail: Scorponok is a good example. The more dangerous Transformer with a stinger tail is Trypticon
  • Belligerent Sexual Tension: Blair and Stephen Dalton in an example, their personalities are such that they seem to swap roles from time to time, but they typically default to Stephen as the Jerk with a Heart of Gold and Blair as the fawning flirty girlfriend.
  • Benevolent Boss: A few examples in this Fan Fiction.
    • Optimus Prime backs up his fellow soldiers whenever the human diplomats questioned them.
    • General Morshower, who is the commander of NEST. He got the backs of Major Lennox and his Autobot/Special Forces regarding political fallout admirably, no matter how many Obstructive Bureaucrat(s) question them.
    • Victor Keys is also one to the workers of his Keys Tech Corporation, and hence they offer him their undying loyalty.
  • The Berserker: Bonecrusher of the Decepticons. Enough said. Demolisher sometimes count too. So does Sunstorm at certain times.
    • Brawn of the Autobots dip into this area when in battle.
  • Berserk Button: NEVER, EVER insult Taiya in front of Blackout and Stephen. You won't live to see another cycle. This applies to Zoe and Mikaela too. Both the former and the latter will have a group of angry Transformers and humans behind you. The results aren't exactly favourable.
    • Ask Melvin Mc Alister. If he's alive, that is.
    • This applies to Optimus Prime as well. Threaten his Fire-Forged Friends or Elita-1, he will rip a few new holes in you with his BFS.
  • BFG: The Transformers of both Autobot and Decepticon have their own unique rifles or pistols, but some have BFG s that can easily make human guns look like peashooters. Optimus Prime has his trusty Ion Blaster, Megatron has his own unique Fusion Cannon, Jetfire has his dual barreled laser rifle, and Ironhide has his plasma blaster and rotatery Rocket Launcher. The Decepticons also have this among their ranks, especially among the Combaticons. A transformer worthy of mention is Trypticon (who is gigantic even compared to regular Transformers, as Omega Supreme is as big as him) As it turns out, Trypticon himself is one. His altmode is a huge orbital satellite. A big Kill Sat. Later he became a City after scanning a different alternate mode when he came to Earth.
    • If you're a Decepticon Mook, and Optimus points his Ion Cannon at you, they'll need a shovel to pick up what's left of you.
    • If you're an Autobot Trooper, and Megatron uses his fusion cannon on you, it means you are more or less atomised bits and pieces.
    • Some of the Autobots have small Wave Motion Gun as their BFG s, and a couple have huge guns that can literally destroy entire armies.
    • and there's Divine Celestial Dagonair's Pulse Railgun Rifle, which can easily be a Wave Motion Gun like Wing Zero's Buster Rifle.
    • Supreme Omega Prime's Mega-ion Cannon Blaster Rifle can put a clean hole in several thousand enemies with one shot.
  • BFS: The Transformers have huge swords that can be drawn out from compartments within their bodies. The Dinobots (originally Dynobots) have Energon Swords. Vector Prime has an ancient sword named Rhisling. The Fallen's disciple, Xanatos has a sword named "Sword of Entropy". Divine of the Seraphims has the "Swords of Light".
    • Optimus Prime has two energon swords within his arms, which he can use to great effect when it comes to decapitating Decepticons and Fallen Minions.
    • Divine Celestial Dagonair has two swords that he can generate out of Hammerspace and they can cut through virtually any substance.
  • Big Bad: Unicron is an excellent example. Megatron in the optics of the Autobots, Sentinel Prime and Optimus Prime in the optics of the Decepticons.
  • Big Damn Heroes: There are quite a few scenes in the larger chapters that involve the main characters saving someone at the nick of time. During the Final Battle, this will happen quite a lot.
    • Almost every faction had a chance to pull off a Big Damn Heroes moment in the story.
  • Big Fancy House: On Earth, the home of the renowned Keys Family, as well as the Mc Alister Family. Whitemore's home also applies too. Back on Cybertron before the Great War, the Autobot Senate officers live in beautiful buildings that were paid with the taxes of the oppressed lesser castes. On Sera Prime, Divine's Aspect of Sun Clan Citadel counts as one, and many other major clans too.
  • Big Good: Optimus Prime, preceded by the primes of Primus, and then the God of Light himself. In the prequel, Divine, preceded again by Supreme Alcadois, and then again by Primus, the Lord of Light.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Averted because the major characters will Screw Destiny and Earn Your Happy Ending! With EXTREME PREJUDICE!
  • Bishonen: Divine Celestial Dagonair and the various members of his Elite Team back on Sera Prime. Most of the males of the Seraphims, anyway.
  • Bishie Sparkle: Unintentional in the sense that Divine has this when he was back on Sera Prime in the Academy, when introducing himself to his fellow academy students, and then again to Seraphim Princesses.
  • Big Ol' Eyebrows: Played With. Some of the characters have this, especially the Transformers, albeit the non-organic version.
  • Bilingual Bonus: Most of the Alien language in this story is translated for easy reading. Especially the Cybertronian language.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: The Cybertronians have a spark that acts as their life and soul, and they reproduce through creation and then adding the spark to a new protoform. They also have similar components in their bodies that look exactly like human organs.
    • The Seraphims, on the other hand, mate for life and are effectively immortal. They "join" their minds together to understand each other and share memories, emotions and thoughts as lovers. They also can shrink down or grow up at will due to their abilities.
  • Black and Grey Morality: Played With. There are characters who are in the black region, and there are characters who are in the grey region, and there are those who tread the thin line in-between good and evil. (Your Mileage May Vary after reading the story. Refer to Character Sheet for more details.)
  • Blade Below the Shoulder: Applies to some of the Humanicons and Autobot Alliance members. Also applies to the Transformers.
  • Body Horror: The Humanicons when getting their upgrades through Operations, and Project Armitage by Arkeville. (considered the greatest medical failure in Human History.) The various life-threatening operations mentioned in this Fan Fiction can be considered a major understatement of this Trope most of the time.
    • The most famous example is the Dalton Twins when converted into their pretender shells.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: Almost all of the characters are this. Optimus can be a Boisterous Bruiser at times, but Megatron will CERTAINLY let you know you're in for a world of hurt. Divine will make sure that you will remember him when he's done with you.
  • Bond One-Liner: Mostly said by the Autobots and Decepticons, as well as the Autobot Alliance and Humanicons at times throughout the story. The Seraphims and Nebulans also have plenty of this too.
  • Boobs of Steel: Depends actually. The Autobot Alliance female Characters, especially Mikaela and Zoe, are quite well-endowed and talented. On the Decepticon side, we have Blair and Roxy, and quite a few others. They don't get any problems when they are deploying for fighting the other factions, or when they are hurt during combat.
    • The Seraphim females play this Trope straight.
  • Boom! Headshot!: Decepticon Mooks and Autobot Troopers tend to get this when shot during the war on Cybertron. Averted for most of the Transformers and Humans.
  • Book Ends: The first chapter is when Blackout meets Taiya, and hopefully, the final chapter will also include this moment.
  • Break the Cutie: Quite a lot of cuties are broken and had their hearts crushed in this Transformers Fan Fiction
  • Breath Weapon: Trypticon has one, combined with his arsenal of Macross Missile Massacre and Frickin' Laser Beams. WHICH. WAS. AWESOME.
  • Bridge Bunnies: When the Humanicons get their own spaceship, Rina, Allison and Loren will become Bridge Bunnies.
  • By the Power of Greyskull: <insert Transformer name>, TRANSFORM!
    • Combiner Mode! Combine to form <insert Gestalt name>!
  • Butt Monkey: Dreadcycle and Drone always suffer worse fates in the Fan Fiction. Skids and Mudflap also end up as bad as Waspinator at times.
  • Calling Your Attacks: Averted. The Transformers don't shout out loud the names of their attacks when fighting. A few do, however.
  • Canon Immigrant: Straxus, Jhiaxus, The Fallen, Unicron, Primus, Vector Prime, Alpha Trion, and a whole host of Transformers Characters are all derived from other corners of the Transformer Universe.
  • Car Fu: Played With. Most of the Decepticons, especially the Stunticons and Barricade, tends to do this. The Autobots avoid this to prevent collateral damage to the surroundings and inhabitants of Earth.
  • The Captain: Optimus is the very embodiment of this trope, both when he was back on Cybertron, and on Earth.
  • Captain Obvious: Thundercracker is this to the Decepticons. The Autobots' side, we have Cliffjumper and Bumblebee.
  • Captain Smooth and Sergeant Rough: Optimus is the most level-headed of the Autobots (as he's the leader), while some of his subordinates are much more rough and rowdy, especially Ironhide and Armourhide.
  • Catch Phrase: Optimus Prime calls for the Autobots to "TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!!" every single time, just like he always does in almost all of the Transformer series.

(and sometimes the last time...depending on Megatron's mood)
  • Chekhov's Gun: Played with. Found in bunches throughout the Fan Fiction. Might have more in the later chapters.
    • Examples include Sari's Key and Victor's allspark charged keycard, Taiya's fallen form and spear, Divine's Fragment of Fifteen power orb, Serina's secret Ragnorok Program, the secret button under Victor's table, the various custom weapons and vehicles of the humanicons...etc etc
  • Chekhov's Gunman: Vector Prime, Alpha Trion, Omega Supreme, Gigatron, and Divine the Seraphim.
  • Civil War: The Cybertronian Great War, which devastated Cybertron and spread to the stars, and then to Earth.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: Subverted for Melvin, he's a real Jerkass. Kind of played straight with some of the Humanicon boys and the Autobot Alliance male members.
  • Chromatic Arrangement: Played With. There is a wide range of colour schemes among the Transformers and Humans themselves, the brighter colours are associated with the Autobots and the Seraphims., while the duller colours are associated with the Decepticons.
  • The Chew Toy: Played With. Drone and Dreadcycle are these at times. Applies to the smaller Transformers, especially Skids and Mudflap.
  • Clasp Your Hands If You Deceive: Happens in this Fan Fiction quite a number of times, due to the number of possibly crazy, scheming bastards included inside. (and an occasional good guy who does this.)
    • Done by Megatron when plotting to conquer Earth within the Nemesis.
    • Done by Optimus Prime when planning the Final Assault on America when it was taken over by Mark Mc Alister
    • Done by Victor Keys when he thought of plans to outwit the Mc Alister family and save the world through his technology.
    • Done by the Divine of the Seraphims when planning the counterattack on the Decepticon fleet.
    • Done by Mark Mc Alister and his family when plotting to overthrow the American Government.
    • Done by Sector 7 and Section 56 Agents when planning to capture the Transformers.
    • Done by Melvin when he's planning to wipe out the Decepticons for good.

  • Clean Cut: When Optimus uses his energon swords, this tends to happen to those who he has just cut through. Applies for anyone who has a BFS in the story and proficient with it.
  • C-List Fodder: Played With. One of the creators, Taiya001 tends to use the not-that-famous Transformers as cannon fodder in the Fan Fiction.
    • Victortky does too, but to a certain extent. Becuase he would like to give those characters A Day in the Limelight.
  • Cold Sniper: The Humanicon Loren can be one when she's serious. On the Autobot side, we have snipers among NEST Troopers and the Joes who can put a clean hole through you from far away before you can even see them.
  • The Collector of the Strange: Played With. Some of the Transformers collect very awkward things on Earth.
    • Razorsnip of the Decepticons, Skybyte's sister and Sketchfan's Original Character in this Fan Fiction, collects Bleach Anime and Manga.
    • Blaster of the Autobots collects almost every music and video CD ever produced by the humans in human history.
    • Bumblebee collects video games made by Humanity, especially Racing ones.

  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: The most basic example is that Decepticons tend to have red optics, while Autobots have blue optics. However, exceptions exist among the Transformers.
    • The Decepticons love dull colours like grey, black and purple, while the Autobots love to use brighter colours like red, blue and yellow.
  • Combining Mecha: Played With. The Transformers are notorious for these, with countless of examples to choose from.
    • Some of the Autobots can combine with each other, such as Optimus with Jetfire, Optimus with Overload, Optimus and Ultra Magnus (design based from Transformers: Robots in Disguise), Optimus with his various sub-commanders due to the Spark of Combination he has received from Primus.
    • Optimus Prime, in standard form, mostly combines with his Trailer to form his powered-up form. He also has a Super Mode in which he can combine with Jetfire, Skyfire, Powerload, and Ultra Magnus to form a special gesalt known as Supreme Omega Prime when he gets the Matrix of Leadership.
    • Vector Prime and Alpha Trion can combine in this continuity, and they become Vector Trion. This Transformer is an ancient warrior of Primus, and he's armed with the courage and weapons of Vector Prime, and the wisdom and kindness of Alpha Trion.
    • The Decepticons also can combine, such as Megatron with Tidal Wave.
    • The Rule of Cool goes to the Gestalt Combiners such as Aerialbots, the Combaticons, the Seacons, the Predacons, the Protectobots, the Stunticons, the technobots etc.
    • The Seraphims can combine their Mobile Suits to form more powerful forms. They also have specialised units that combine with their mecha to add additional firepower, strength and speed enhancements.
  • Cool Big Sis: Allison is one to her younger sister Rina. Zoe is one to Sari, and Chromia, Arcee and Elita-1 are Cool Big Sisters to Zoe. (Both literally and figuratively.)
  • Cool Ship: Two variations.
    • Broadside of the Autobots become a Massive Aircraft Carrier, so does Tidal Wave for the Decepticons.
    • Both the Ark and the Nemesis are considered Cool Spaceships.
    • The various warships and spaceships of the Seraphims and nebulans count too.
    • The Autobot Alliance's secondary base of operations is in an Airborne Aircraft Carrier that looks like a VTOL Heli Carrier. (Just much more bigger and heavily armed.)
  • Cool Car: Many Autobots and Decepticons transform into cool cars.
    • The Autobot side, we have Bumblebee (Camero), Jazz (Pontiac Solstice), Prowl (Nissan 350Z police car), Sunstreaker (Lamborghini Diablo), and Hot Rod (Dodge Viper).
    • The Decepticon side, we have the Battlechargers (Runabout and Runamuck) [who both become Chevrolet Camaro SS], the Stuncticons (who becomes sports cars), Barricade (Police car), and the Eradicons (who have a badass muscle car form)
  • Cool Plane: Starscream is a modified F-22 Raptor. So are Skywarp, Thundercracker, Ramjet and Dirge. (Practically all the Seekers)
    • Jetfire, Skyfire, Broadside, Rotorstorm and the Aerialbots transform into Earth fighter jets and Supersonic planes.
  • Cool Old Lady: Played With. The female Cybertronians, most of the time, as seen from human eyes, but to the Transformers themselves, they are still young.
  • Cosmic Keystone: Cybertron, Earth, Sera Prime and Nebulos are all these. Unicron plans to destroy them all to prevent anyone from stopping him from destroying the Universe.
  • Covert Pervert: Played With. Quite a few of the male characters in this Fan Fiction, mostly played for laughs and jokes.
  • Creative Sterility: Played With. Unicron cannot create life, instead he destroys life. Primus, on the other hand, creates Life and seed the planets with it to form his forces that he could use to defeat Unicron.
    • The cybertronians can reproduce with their sparks, but they build their young and then input the sparks born from the Allspark with it in this continuity.
    • The Seraphims reproduce through mating like humans, and they normally bear as many offspring as possible to further the existence of the clan they are born from.
    • The heralds of Unicron, such as Straxus, Gindcore and Galvatron, do not possess sparks, with the only one being Nemesis Prime due to his Dead Matrix containing a dark power named the Darkness.
  • Cross Referenced Titles: The titles normally connects each other in a sense in the title. The chapters in "Russian Roulette" and "Rescue Prez" are good examples.

    • The Seacons versus the Russian Fleet is one.

  • CuteKidsAndRobots: The Humanicons and their Decepticon owners. The Autobot Alliance members and their human allies.
  • Cute Shotaro Boy: Most of the male characters in this story when they were young in the past. Stephen, Divine, Victor and Sam are good examples.
  • Cybernetics Eat Your Soul: Averted and then played straight.
    • The Humanicons have Cybernetics, but they have certain Restraining Bolt(s) included, and help keep them alive.
    • Played Straight with Mark Mc Alister, Melvin Mc Alister, Cameron Mc Alister and the Section 56 Troops.
  • Death by Origin Story: The first 13 Transformers. Only references of them have been made throughout the Fan Fiction, and the Seraphims enountered them a few times during the visits to Cybertron. They all more or less perished in the battle with Unicron. (except for Vector Prime and the Fallen.)
  • Death Is Cheap: Averted as much as possible with the major characters, but applies to Decepticon Mooks and Autobot Troopers in the Great War.
    • In fact, let's just say "destroyed" doesn't necessarily mean "dead" and leave it at that.
    • Offline, however, counts at times.
  • Death World: Cybertron is so ravaged by the Great War that it is rendered unhabitable, even by Transformers standards.
  • Demoted to Extra: Averted for the main characters, but Maggie and Glen has been pretty much shunted to one side and only referenced when necessary, otherwise they don't even exist. Simmons, Banachek and the Sector 7 agents too.
    • Glen got killed off rather horribly.
    • Too many official characters got shunted aside to make way for the Original Character(s) in this Fan Fiction, truth be told.
  • Deus Ex Machina: There are some in the Fan Fiction. Bonus points if you can find them.
  • Did Not Do the Research: Played with. The creators of this Fan Fiction are Transformers Fans, and one of them was a Transformer Comic book collector, and hence changes sometimes might be somewhat necessary to stay true to the Transformers Universe.
  • Did They or Didn't They?: Played straight in this story. Mostly concerning whether the major couples have gotten together or not.
    • The major characters managed to survive the Final Battle and live their new lives afresh, and most of them got a rather happy ending.
  • Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: Played With. Taiya Dalton will later fight Unicron and the Fallen.
    • And the major factions will unite to fight Unicron in the Grand Finale up in space. Like other continuities, they need to come across this Trope to win.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Several Examples.
    • The Decepticons, in a variation of their combat doctrine, would be sensible and undermine as much of the enemy infrastructure as they could before they went for the full-scale assault. And when they did go for said full-scale assault, they will send overwhelming forces and hit the opposition so hard, it'd take them centuries to recover. (if they ever did at all).
    • The Seraphims, although cooperative and peaceful, plays this Trope during the Expansion wars by using overwhelming force to wipe out the Decepticon invasion fleets attacking their domain. When a single planet of theirs is wiped out, they paid the Decepticons back a thousand-fold.
  • Doomed by Canon: Arguably, the 13 Original Transformers, with a few averting death. Due to the fact that this is a Fan Fiction, this Trope will be most likely averted or even defied.
  • Does This Remind You of Anything?: Most of the Transformers swear language used, as well as the names of the Seraphim spaceships, such as Messiah, Spirit, Destiny etc...
  • Do Not Go Gentle: During the Final Battle, most of the characters are this way, fighting to the bitter end with the best of their abilities to prevent Unicron from winning and stopping the Fallen from activating the Solar Harvester.
  • Drill Sergeant Nasty: Ironhide was a Drill Sergeant back on Cybertron, in addition to being a weapons specialist.
    • Onslaught of the Combaticons was also one of the Drill Sergeants of Boot Camp on Cybertron's Military Academy.
  • The Dragon: Starscream was initially The Dragon for Megatron. Of course, he was The Starscream all along. The position was later passed to Soundwave as he was more loyal.
    • Optimus Prime's Dragon is actually Jazz. His choice was initially Bumblebee, but then again Bumblebee is a little too violent in this continuity...
    • The Dragon for Mark Mc Alister is his son Melvin actually, most of the time.
    • Victor's Dragon is actually his second-in-command named Rex.
    • Divine of the Seraphims' Dragon is actually Finox, The Lancer and The Smart Guy.
  • Dropped a Bridge on Him: Played With. The Creators tend to avoid killing off characters, but the supporting characters got killed off pretty easily.
    • Glen was killed off rather painfully.
  • Dumb Muscle: Played With. The Dinobots are good example of this. Tidal Wave too.
  • Dude, She's Like, in a Coma: Averted in this story with the female characters. Depends on the creators whether this will happen or not.
  • Dysfunction Junction: Played With. No matter what species they are, each of the characters in this Transformers Fan Fiction has a significant psychological issue, a troubled past, or parental issue.
    • The Humanicons are excellent examples of these.
    • The Mc Alister family is one Big Screwed-Up Family, truth be told.
  • Earthshattering Kaboom: Happens whenever a major character uses his or her BFG, or a spaceship using its orbital weaponry.
    • Applies to Divine when he uses his Pulse Railgun Rifle on an enemy.
    • Whenever Supreme Omega Prime uses his Mega-ion Cannon to clear a path.
  • Even the Guys Want Him: Played With. Some of the Male Characters in this Fan Fiction. Bonus points if you can guess them.
  • Everything's Better with Princesses: Played With. Not exactly, but this Fan Fiction has some. Xeria was a princess in this story, and so are many of the female Seraphims before they became warriors. Zoe later was reborn as a Seraphim and became one as the manifestation of Xeria.
  • Evilutionary Biologist: Professor Arkeville. Although he's Ax Crazy mildly. If you see those people he experimented on, you will know.
  • Expressive Hair: Divine and the Seraphims play this Trope straight with their hairstyles.
  • Eye Lights Out: When the Transformers of both Factions go offline or aka die.
  • Falling Into the Cockpit: Averted. Divine had Training from Hell before he was able to pilot his specially designed Mobile Suit as a professsional. This applies to the Humanicons and the Autobot Alliance members with their vehicles. Good thing the vehicles are actually Transformers sometimes, so it's kind of a reconstructed trope.
  • Fan Service: Played With. Happens depending on the creator's mood in the Fan Fiction.
  • Fate Worse Than Death: The Heralds of Unicron are little more than living zombies, with limited intelligence but infused with various dangerous dark powers.
  • Fetish Fuel Station Attendant: Played With. Blair, and some of the more beautiful and "talented" female Humanicons. Zoe can be considered as one when evolved into her Seraphim form, as she's practically a goddess in that form.
  • Frickin' Laser Beams: Transformers of both Autobots and Decepticons tend to do this with their weapons. Their spaceships also do apply to this Trope. The Seraphims also have these applied to their Mobile Suits and Spacecraft.
  • Glamorous Wartime Singer: Cassandra for the Autobot Side, and Vera for the Decepticon side.
  • Gainaxing: Played With. Applies to the female characters of this story, especially the more well-endowed ones.
  • Genre Savvy: Played With. The characters of this story were dangerously Genre Savvy, due to the fact they are either professionals in their respective fields, or just know that what will happen if they don't get things done at the correct moment. (often leads to injury, death or otherwise.)
  • Get a Hold of Yourself, Man!: Played With. These moments happen when the Humanicons got themselves stuck in a tight spot during and after battles, and also with the Autobot Alliance members at times when things don't go exactly as planned.
    • Also among the Seraphims, especially among the various clan members within Gold Team.
  • Glowing Eyes of Doom: Applies to the Fallen, his Quirky Miniboss Squad, and Unicron. Also applies to Vector Prime, Optimus Prime, Alpha Trion, Ultra Magnus, Jetfire, Megatron, Starscream, Blackout, Omega Supreme, Trypticon, Metroplex, Gigatron when they are about to kick serious ass in the story. When Divine the Seraphim gets this, enemies die in masses.
  • Godiva Hair: Played With. Happens a little to the female characters in this Fan Fiction.
  • Graceful Loser: Completely defied. Even after having thrown everything including the hook, line and sinker at the heroes, Unicron (instead of heaving a sigh of defeat) was instead shouting maddeningly as he, along with his minions, were blasted by the heroes into the void.
  • Gratuitous English: As all of the Transformers series are in english, except for the Japanese ones, this Fan Fiction stays true to this Trope by putting everything, YES EVERYTHING, in English.
  • Groupie Brigade: Cassandra and Vera, the Autobot and Decepticon singers had this. Moreso for the former than the latter.
  • Gunship Rescue: Most of the time done by the Autobot Alliance, the Joes and NEST forces.
  • Hammerspace: Most Cybertronians and Seraphims have access to subspace pockets to store weapons or specialized equipment. The Humanicons and the Autobot Alliance members have yet to get those.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Played With. Divine, after transforming (pun intended) himself into a human male, is literally half a human on the outside and a seraphim on the inside. Applies to Zoe after her final evolution. Taiya and the Humanicons are literally half-cybertronian hybrids.
  • Healing Factor: The Heralds of Unicron can instantaneously heal themselves from all but the most grievous of injuries. As normal weaponry cannot harm them, only a BFS (like Vector Prime's sword), BFG (like Optimus Prime's ion cannon), or a MacGuffin like the Matrix of Leadership (or the Allspark) can pack enough punch to seriously injure or even kill them.
  • The Heartless: The Heralds of Unicron are these, especially Straxus and Nemesis Prime. The minions of Unicron, meanwhile, are literally embodiments of this trope.
  • Heel Face Revolving Door: Starscream again, due to Chronic Backstabbing Disorder. He likes to switch sides to find options that benefit him the most. Some of the other Decepticons also qualify too.
  • Heel Face Turn: Played With. For the Transformers side, none yet. But on the human side, we have Professor Yoshiro, James Mc Alister, Arkeville, Simmons and Banachek, and many others that will switch sides when given a chance later in the story.
  • Hello Boys: Played With. The female Humanicons, but mostly Blair. Oh God, Blair to her love interest Stephen. Causes awkward moments whenever she does this.
    • The Autobot girls? Not so much.
    • Well, maybe a little here and there.
    • Arcee, Chromia, Firestar, Greenlight, Lancer, Flareup, Elita-1, Moon Racer are these, and more for the Autobot side.
    • The Decepticon side we have Dreadcycle, Slipstream, Strika, and more for the Decepticon side.
    • The Seraphims? Rarely, so fat chance.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Played With. This Trope will be played many more times in this Fan Fiction.
    • Many of the main Transformers and Humans are prepared to make this when fighing the Final Battle in the Grand Finale.
  • Heroic Sociopath: Played With. Some of the Decepticons and Autobots are these.
  • High-Speed Missile Dodge: Applies to the Seekers of both faction origin when in battle. Also for the Ace Pilots for the Human side, mostly the G.I.Joes and the Autobot Alliance members.
  • Hime Cut: Played With. Divine and Xeria, and most of the Seraphims, so very much.
  • Hold Your Hippogriffs: Cybertronians have a number of Unusual Euphemisms that they use in place of English counterparts.
  • Humans Are Warriors: Depends on the situation, but moreso for the armed forces like NEST, FSOF and the Autobot Alliance.
    • The Humanicons also count too.
  • Humongous Mecha: Most normal Cybertronians, such as Autobots and Decepticons, and the Seraphims too tend to tower over humans smaller Transfomers. They are, in turn, towered over by Omega Supreme, Metroplex, Trypticon and Gigatron. Primus and Unicron, meanwhile, dwarf everyone as they are planet-sized.
  • HSQ: Over Nine Thousand. And still counting when it reaches the Final Battle in the Grand Finale, which it will most likely go Up to Eleven.
  • Human Aliens: The Cybertronians have human-like emotions and feelings, and the Seraphims mate in the same way as humans do. Their standard forms are humanoid and human-like, although they look like Transformer-sized humans with the look of space elves.
  • Iconic Item: The Matrix of Leadership, as always, is strongly associated with the Primes, and especially Optimus.
    • The Fragment of Fifteen, currently in the possession of Divine the Seraphim, also counts as he would later give this power to someone he loves to save her from death and grant extraordinary powers to her.
  • I Didn't Mean to Turn You On: Played With. Happens from time to time among the cast. Mostly results in Awkward situations. Moreso Less so (depending on the creators themselves) for the major couples in this Fan Fiction.
  • Idol Singer: Again, Cassandra and Vera. Autobot and Decepticon side respectively.
  • Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: Played With. Each chapter focuses on something important in the Alter Verse story. For example, the confrontation with Russia is explored in "Russian Roulette", the Rescue of President Whitemore is seen in "Rescue Prez", and the formation of Eclipse into Fallen form is explored in "Ascension of Fallen Eclipse". More of Exactly What It Says on the Tin for each chapter.
  • I Got You Covered: During the Fan Fiction's final battle. Also happens throughout the main story at times, and featured prominently in the prequel of Divine's story. Whenever there's a battle in space or the air, this Trope is applied.
  • Immortality Immorality: The Heralds of Unicron and the first 13 Transfomers of Primus, again, are nigh-immortal and decidedly unnatural. They are effectively immortal and live for millions of years. The Seraphims also count too, as the High Council were older than they look.
  • Immune to Bullets: Standard human small arms aren't going even hurt Cybertronians - specially-made rocket-propelled sabot rounds and larger munitions are another matter as they can technically knock Cybertronians offline or damage their bodies. As for the Transformers themselves, their weaker weapons aren't much good against the Heralds - you require BFS, BFG or an ancient Artifact in order to even hurt them.
  • Improbable Age: Played With. The Humanicons are teenagers at best when taken to fight for the Decepticons. So are some of the Autobot Alliance members. The Seraphims' military force trains their soldiers from young, and they are literally Career Killers in their own right.
  • Improbable Piloting Skills: Played With. Naturally. Applies to the Humanicons and the Auobot Alliance members, the Joes, and the NEST and FSOF Troopers.
    • Divine is the master of this Trope with his mecha piloting skills
    • The evil side has the Section 56 troopers of Sector 7, under the command of the Mc Alister Family.
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Played With. Arguably, some of the villians in the story. Averted as much as possible for the main and supporting characters.
  • I'm Taking Her Home with Me!: Rina, Marta (android form), Sari, and Patricia.
  • Implacable Ship: The Nemesis, the Flagship of the Decepticons, in the prequel, took a direct hit from the Ark's weapon systems, the spaceship of the Autobots, and still suffered minor damage.
    • Averted when the Nemesis was hit by over a thousand pulse railgun rounds from the Seraphim's Orbital Defense platform. The results are not pretty.
  • Impossibly Low Neckline: Blair has an outfit like this most of the time. Fan Service galore! Zoe's dress has one when she's going on a date with Victor.
  • Incurable Cough of Death: The Autobots, when infected with scraplets or cosmic rust. They got better though.
  • Infinite Supplies: Averted, as energon is running out fast during the war on Cybertron, and now the Transformers were living off substitutes until Earth was found to be rich in energon like fuel.
  • Instrumentality: Vector Sigma is an example of this, as all the Transformers are one before they were made into protoforms.
  • Insult Backfire: A certain Variation.
    • When the Decepticons revealed that the Autobots are actually a corrupt government and suppressed the minors through force and corruption, public opinion turned against the Autobots turned to their favour. What do the Autobots do? Held a press conference and revealed all the information about the Decepticons conquering and destroying worlds to expand their empire, with the testimony personally from a Decepticon Turncoat known as Drift (wink wink). Immediately, The Decepticons were too stunned to do anything else but gawk at the truth.
  • Intro Dump: Played straight in the catch up chapter TFAV, the story so far.
  • I Shall Taunt You: Played to exaggerated amounts with The Fallen and Unicron.
  • It's All My Fault: Taiya, oh so much when she becomes The new Fallen of the Earth and killed quite a lot of Transformers and Humans.
  • It Got Worse: Played With. The TFAV Memoirs Chapter.
    • To give you an idea, the Mc Alister family won, and the Autobots and Decepticons are nearly defeated, and The Fallen is coming back.
  • Jerkass: Melvin, the son of Mark Mc Alister.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Sam Witwicky (at times) and Stephen Dalton (at times) both play this trope fairly straight, respectively demonstrating the Angsty Pretty Boy and Too-Cool Ladies' Man variants.
  • Just a Machine: Brutally averted as the Transfomers are sentient alien robot lifeforms from the planet of Cybertron.
  • Kid Appeal Character: The former Trope Namer Bumblebee appears, but he's a grizzly veteran of the war and hence was more radical and violent than usual, and hence he did not quite help out on the public relations with the Autobots. In terms of fostering human-Cybertronian relations, Jazz (Optimus's second-in-command) helps out more than Bumblebee.
  • Killed Off for Real: Some supporting characters and Transformers.
    • Glen is killed off.
  • The Lady's Favour: Some of the major characters does this for the battles waged in the Fan Fiction. Moreso for the Final Battle
  • Lampshade Hanging: Played With. Happens in this story quite a number of times.
  • Like You Were Dying: Taiya's moments with Blackout when she was in her Fallen form..
    • Same Trope applies to Victor and Zoe.
  • Light Is Good/Dark Is Not Evil - The Autobots and Primus are all generally out to do good. The Decepticons, meanwhile, aren't all pure evil, as when the Humanicons discovered when they bonded with their Decepticon partners.
  • Like Reality Unless Noted: Even counting in the presence of Cybertronians and Seraphims, there are some minor changes from Real Life, such as Obama and Putin are not the Presidents of US and Russia as an example.
  • Limited Wardrobe: Adverted, as the characters were described to be in different clothes throughout the series.
  • Literary Allusion Title: There are some references to some Anime and Televison shows from the titles in the chapters.
  • Loads and Loads of Characters: Again, Transformers Series are common for including many characters. This Fan Fiction introduces many Transformers and Human characters, including Original Character(s) and as well as a new mysterious race named the Seraphims.Yet more are still coming.
  • Loud of War: Played With. Soundwave and Blaster are the masters of this Trope, as they tend to use soundwaves (no pun intended Soundwave) as a form of attack when in battle. Soundwave's cassette minions, Rumble and Frenzy used ultra-sound and infra-sound respectively (although the cartoon opted for earthquake-inducing earthpounders instead). Thundercracker's sonic boom could collapse structures and blow up enemy jets, and Dirge's engine vibrations were supposed to induce panic in his victims.
  • MacGuffin: Played with. The Artifacts of Primus, such as the Matrix of Leadership, although useless at first, later fits an important throughout the story.
    • The Allspark in this Transformers Fan Fiction fit this Trope nicely...until the later chapters.
  • Macross Missile Massacre: The Seekers, Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker, are fond of these. They pack enough missiles to make a bunch of patroit missile turrets look like peashooters. The Autobots are also applying this Trope to their weapons as well, as their missile launchers and rocket launchers can cause a missile spam within seconds.
    • The Seraphim Ships and Mobile Suits also use this Trope when they are facing off against Cybertronians in the past in the Expansion Wars.
  • Mad Scientist: Doctor Arkeville, which plays this Trope painfully straight. (no pun intended)
  • Martyr Without a Cause: Optimus Prime, which is the same as the other continuities, is willing to sacrifice himself to save lives.
    • Averted with Vector Prime and Divine the Seraphim.
  • Masquerade: Averted, as the Transformers have come out openly in this story and announced their existence to the United Nations.
    • Although at first it covered up, but then the various events that involved the Transformers made it hard to do so.
  • Meaningful Name: Another given, as most of the names given to Cybertronians describe something about themselves, their personalities or their abilities.
  • The Medic: Red Alert, Ratchet, The Protectobots for the Autobot Side. With the company of Keys Tech Corporation occasionally pitching in. Scalpel, Arkeville, Shockwave for the Decepticon side. Of course, you will fine the Autobot medics to be more nice to their patients than the Decepticon ones.
  • Mega Corp: Keys Tech Corporation , which is the founded by Victor Keys after the Arkeville incident, is a multi-facet corporation with the headquarters located right beside Autobot City in Colorado. It handles projects from the government including medicine, technology, biology, neuroscience, transportation, commercial product development, telecommunications, and even some contracts with DOD and NASA. The Autobots have been quite helpful in helping the Corporation with their tasks and assignments, expecially Wheeljack and Perceptor with their fellow secientists.
    • The Corporation also has its own Internal Security and Para-military forces to protect its installations, and it controls the majority of the stock market shares of many economic sectors around the globe.
  • Memetic Badass: Played With. Many of the main Decepticons and Humanicons, as well as the Autobots and their allies.
    • The Seraphims and the Ancient Cybertronians play this Trope quite straight.
    • Optimus and Megatron are the king and emperor respectively of this Trope.
    • Applies to certain Humans as well, such as Lennox and Epps of NEST.
  • Mid-Season Upgrade: Definitely will happen in this story, for a lot of the main Transformers characters of both factions. The Seraphims will also get some too.
  • Mind Control or maybe More Than Mind Control: The Fallen does this to Taiya, and it is Nightmare Fuel on crack.
  • More Dakka: The Transformers, especially the more powerful ones, are living embodiments of this Trope after they have upgraded to their more powerful forms. Ironhide carried enough weapons to make him look like a One-Man Army. Onslaught has so many guns that he could put an armory to shame. Metroplex, Omega Supreme, Trypticon and Gigatron can fire enough weapons to play this Trope to Death. The Seraphims' spaceships and Mobile Suits also applies this Trope as well, but they are more of a pulse, beam and railgun weaponry.
  • Music for Courage: Some for Cassandra and Vera.
  • Mythology Gag: Played With. Given that this is a Transformers story based on the Comic and Cartoon series, this Trope is a given.
  • Names To Distrust: Played With. The Autobot names often are trustworthy, but the Decepticon names aren't.
  • NameTron: Megatron/Cybertron/Galvatron/Gigatron as seen from their names.
  • Never Say "Die": The major characters will fight to their last breath to achieve the universe they want to live in.
  • Nigh Invulnerability: Played With. The Heralds of Unicron, the death bringer's personal Quirky Miniboss Squad. The same applies for Primus's own 13 Original Transformers, especially Vector Prime.
  • Night of the Living Mooks: The Heralds of Unicron are capable of summoning large armies of undead minions to do their dirty work for them, or help them in battle. Played straight with the Fallen and his disciple named Xanatos.
  • Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: We've got the robots (LOLZ), we've got the zombies (The minions of Unicron), pirates not yet...but a suspicious lack of ninja, save Drift, Blurr, Bludgeon, Prowl and Jazz.
  • Non-Lethal Warfare: The Creators avoid killing characters unless necessary, but many mooks and troopers from many sides died like flies.
  • Nuke'Em: Happens when the Humans found out that conventional weaponry can't harm the fallen's minions and his Quirky Miniboss Squad. Also used against Unicron in the final battle.
  • Oblivious Adoption: Marta, who is actually the lovechild of Taka and Mark Mc Alister fits this Trope.
  • Of Corsets Sexy: Played With. Blair and Loren's clothing most of the time. A little for Mikaela and Zoe.
  • Old School Dogfighting: The Autobot and Decepticon Seekers are fond of this at times, as well as the human pilots in their jet fighters.
  • The Omniscient Council of Vagueness: The matrix is essentially holding the sparks of the primes who sacrificed themselves to prevent the Fallen from dooming other worlds of life by using the Solar Harvester. It also holds their wisdom and energy too. The Fragment of Fifteen, a ball of energy given to Divine in the prequel, is also this as it has fragments of power from the High Council Seraphims themselves.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: Played With. Megatron and some of the Decepticons won't shy away from destruction, but Unicron wants to wipe out all life from existence.
  • One Steve Limit / Name's the Same: The creators also tend to avoid giving two characters the same name as much as possible.
  • Original Character: A lot appears in this Fan Fiction. We have the Humanicons, The Mc Alister family, the Transformers Original Character(s), the Fallen's disciple Xanatos, and a new enigmatic race named The Seraphims.
  • Painting the Fourth Wall: The creators have added fourth wall talk with the characters sometimes at the end of the chapters, but mostly are just for fun. There are also explainations on things that happened in the story, such as the Transformer abilities and weaponry, or just to explain some storyline details.
  • Phlebotinum Muncher: The Transformers when they are consuming Energon.
  • Praetorian Guard: The Seraphim Elite Guards for the Seraphims play this Trope straight. The Senate Guards for the Primes also count as this too.
    • The Wreckers and the Harbingers for Optimus Prime.
    • The Mayhem Attack Squad for Megatron.
  • Person of Mass Destruction: This Fan Fiction has several examples.
    • The Fantastic Vector Prime who travels through Time and Space fighting the Dark Minions of the Fallen.
    • The heroic Optimus Prime tends to use his ion blaster or energon swords to disable or damage his enemies, and was able to take on many Eradicons and win.
    • The tyrannical Megatron commonly use the usual strategy of "Shoot it with my big gun or cut it with my mace", and took on Sentinel Prime and an army of Autobots and won.
    • We have also got Unicron who eats planets...who is damn dangerous. MAJOR understatement
    • The gentler Transformers, such as Metroplex and Omega Supreme, if sufficiently provoked.
    • Divine the Seraphim is one Person of Mass Destruction. He was famous for taking on Sunstorm and the seekers and won, not to mention holding out against Xanatos and the Fallen with Vector Prime.
    • Primus...when he's pissed off at Unicron.
  • Physical God: Primus and Unicron, of course.
  • Planet Eater: Unicron as always, as seen from other continuities, also applies to this Fan Fiction.
  • Pistol Pose: Any Transformer or human who has a pistol will have this Trope incorporated.
  • Point Defenseless: Sometimes played straight, at other times averted. Happens during many space battles, and the shooting in those scenes look like the mooks and troopers of both Decepticons and Autobot faction's gunnery training came from the Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy.
  • Powered Armor: The various armour suits reverse engineered from cybertronian technology for combat counts as this. Optimus's Powerload combat combination mode also counts.
  • Power Fist: A number of Transformers and human's powered armour have these, and they can dish out a lot of damage.
  • Pre-Mortem One-Liner: "Rest in specks of space dust scattered to the ends of the Universe." Delivered by Divine after he opened fire on the Nemesis itself in the prequel.
  • Private Military Contractors: Employed by the Humans to keep security in High-Priority Areas.
  • Proud Warrior Race Guy: Pretty much describes what Divine is, back on Sera Prime in the prequel. The Decepticons on a whole counts as this too.
  • Puny Humans: Averted hard in this story as Humans Are Special due to their personalities and their Badass moments.
  • Quirky Miniboss Squad: Several Examples in this Fan Fiction:
    • Primus has the 13 Original Transformers. (Including Vector Prime and the Fallen)
    • Unicron has his own, comprised of The Fallen, Xanatos, Jahixus, Straxus, Grindcore, Nemesis Prime and Galvatron.
    • Optimus Prime has his own inner circle of sub-commanders that answer to him, and they are Badass too. Those are Ironhide, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Springer, Kup, Advocator, Powerload, Vector Prime.
    • Megatron has Razorclaw, Onslaught, Soundwave, Starscream, Shockwave, Scrapper, Blackout, Snaptrap as his own personal Squad.
    • The Seraphims have their Council of Fifteen who were powerful warriors, and Divine's personal Gold Team.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Megatron and Optimus. Judging from their optics alone, not to mention personalities.
  • Really Seven Hundred Years Old: The First Thirteen have been created by Primus since the dawn of time. Vector Prime is still looking good after so many millions of years. Divine is actually millions of years old, but he looks young too.
  • Real Robot: The various Powered Armour reverse-engineered by the Humans from Cybertronian Technology counts.
  • Refuge in Cool: Pretty much describes this Fan Fiction...and the Transformers too.
  • Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: The Creators tend to do this to characters who do not have enough moments in the story. But they are careful to avoid this trope as much as possible.
  • Ridiculously Cute Critter: The mini-cons are these. Give them a hug!
  • Robot Buddy: The Humanicons and their Decepticon partners, and the Autobots with their Alliance members.
  • Roboteching: The Seekers and Jetfire, as well as Skyfire, tend to do this at times during battle. The Seraphims too in their Mobile Suits.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Bound to happen if Taiya, in Fallen form snaps. She did, and many things were broken. Don't ask what.
  • Running Gag: Mostly focusing on the various humourous moments among the Transformers and Humans.
  • Schedule Slip: Real Life issues prevented the continuation of this Fan Fiction, but updates are trickling in as the days go along.
  • Sexy Discretion Shot: Played straight with Victor and Zoe in their love moment. Zoe gets deeply kissed by Victor (finally aware that she was Xeria's manifestation and he was Divine in human form), and she asks him to give her the "strength to protect and the courage to be with him till the end.", before burying herself into his arms. The flowers outside Zoe's home bloomed during their heart-to-heart sharing session.
    • Another example is subtle cues and gestures from the story about the major couples, such as "being in their room" as an example.
  • Show Some Leg: Happens from time to time with the Humanicons.
  • Movie Within A Show: The Dark Lord Jadow movie, which is actually one of the creator's Original Character.
  • Shrug of God: Happens to the Creators sometimes among themselves, when trying to explain some details about the Transformers or trying to add some additional storyline content.
  • "Shut Up" Kiss: Happens between some of the major couples of Transformers Alter Verse.

  • Sigil Spam: The Autobots and Decepticons tend to plaster their faction symbols everywhere.
  • Single-Stroke Battle: Taiya versus the Fallen. The heroes and heroines versus the Fallen's Quirky Miniboss Squad. Do the math.
  • Sinister Surveillance: Soundwave is the master of this. Justified though, because he's the Decepticon's intelligence officer.
  • Slap Slap Kiss: Some of the major couples are these.
  • Sleep Mode Size: Divine when he's in human form. His mature form is a fifty-feet tall powerful-looking muscular angelic Seraphim that was as large as Optimus Prime himself. He also gains to use all of his powers to the fullest in Seraphim form. In his Sleep Mode Size, he's actually a human boy known as Victor Keys who was respected and well-liked by his various allies, even to winning the love of Zoe.
  • Smug Snake: Melvin the Jerkass is this. Applies to some of the female Humanicons, and Decepticons too.
  • Space Opera: Played with. Combining Mecha? Check. Spaceships? Check. Epic final space battles? Check. Lots of heroes and villains? Check. Awe-inspiring places? Check. Insanely gorgeous female characters? Definitely check. Love stories? BIG CHECK.
  • Spell My Name with an "S": Happens with some of the characters' names. Especially the Autobots and Decepticons, and sometimes with the humans and the Seraphims.
  • Stripperific: Some examples in this Fan Fiction:
    • Blair's clothing most of the time plays this Trope straight.
    • So does Loren and Devin in some cases. (slyer's Girlfriend)
    • A few of Zoe's clothings, but she's far more modest as she never wore them much.
    • Some of the female Seraphims priestesses and training warriors are like this, but covers up for modesty purposes.
  • Subspace Ansible: Instantaneous galaxy-wide communication and Travel is made possible by Pulsewave Technology, and Transwarp space bridges by the Cybertronians. The Seraphims have their own, named Lightcomm Technology and Wrapspace for their spaceships.
  • Sucking-In Lines: This happens whenever a BFG or a Wave Motion Gun is about to be fired.
  • Super Mode: Each of the main characters has one.(or more if the plot requires) Will (and MUST in some cases) be used when during the Final Battle.
  • Super Reflexes: The Transformers of both factions, especially the veterans, are the masters of this Trope. Demostrated beautifully by the Seraphims in battle.
  • Tank Goodness: A few Transformers have tanks for alternate modes. A bunch of Decepticons including Brawl and Cannonblower are good examples.
  • Ten-Minute Retirement: Sometime during the Expansion Wars, Divine took some time off to contemplate on what he has done after fighting some battles on an uncharted planet he found, and met Alpha Trion who gave him some wisdom. Then he gets back to action later.
  • Theme Music Power-Up: Omnipresent. Whenever an awesome music starts playing, expect Awesomeness to come in Gratuitous loads.
    • Whenever a major character is about to kick some serious butt or aft, expect their theme song to be played.
    • Whenever a Transformers song is played, expect the bots or cons or both to kick ass in large amounts.
    • The one that takes the cake is the main Transformers Theme, which is recommended for listening to when reading the Final Battle.
  • Tempting Fate: There are some scenes in the chapters that are practically tempting fate. Most of the main characters try to avoid this as much as possible, but the same cannot be said for the villians.
  • The Beautiful Elite: The Seraphims play this Trope to large amounts of exaggeration, especially with their royalty castes.

  • The Starscream: The Trope Namer appears. Unsurprisingly, Starscream IS ONE. Ramjet is one in the past, but has given up on it.
  • The Soulless: With the exception of The Fallen, Nemesis Prime, Xanatos, none of the Heralds have sparks. Galvatron is also an exception. The other minions fits this Trope perfectly.
  • Time Dissonance: The modern Transformers are a few million years old, and the Veterans are even older. The 13 original Transformers have been existing since their creation by Primus, which is pretty old. This applies to the Seraphims as well.
    • The Transformers Alter Verse's backstory has Optimus and Megatron chasing each other around the galaxy searching for the Allspark for literally millions of years before the fateful crash-landing on Earth.
  • Time Skip: Happens between chapters, such as a story that takes place three months after the events of Rescue Prez.
  • Time Travel: Vector Prime, one of th 13 Original Transformers, can pull this off when necessary.
  • The Tease: Blair, DEAR GOD BLAIR, especially with Stephen Dalton. Just read what happens to them.
  • The Thing That Goes Doink: A medium-sized one in the gardens of the Sun clan.
  • The War Sequence: Happens whenever in major big battles.
  • The Worf Effect: Happens to the Villans sometimes...the mooks especially.
  • Translation Convention: Most of the language in the prequel is written in cybertronian and Seraphim language, but has been translated by the creators to facilitate better reading. Applies to the Fan Fiction as well.
  • Transforming Mecha: DO I REALLY NEED TO EXPLAIN? [beat]
  • Truce Zone: Maccadam's Old Oil House, during the Great War on Cybertron.
  • Unexplained Recovery: Taiya Dalton, and many of the Humanicons. But Taiya mostly, as she was the Fallen of the Earth. She has been tortured mentally and physically by the Fallen, and she has to fight Unicron alone at first.
    • And many of the other characters of many factions.
  • Unstoppable Rage: Bonecrusher. Enough said. Candidates competiting for this title are Sunstorm, Brawn and Demolisher.
  • Unusual Euphemism: Lots of them, for the official list, please read the following link. Anatomic euphemism for Transformers.
  • Verbal Tic: Applies to Humanicons sometimes.
  • Victoria's Secret Compartment: Tends to come in handy for the Humanicons when they need to hide something important. Unsurprisingly, the female members of the Autobot Alliance do those too.
  • Wave Motion Gun: The spaceships of the Cybertronians, the Nebulans and the Seraphims have these as their main weapons.
    • Divine's double-barreled Pulse Railgun Rifle in Final form is one, and Supreme Omega Prime also has one Positron Rifle.

  • Who Wants to Live Forever?: Although a few of the Transformers feels this way, but most of them are pleased with their state of semi-immortality. The Seraphims have to live with it, as most of them are immortal or at the very least semi-immortal.

  • You Shall Not Pass: Bound to show up in this story many, many times. One good example is the Autobots and Decepticons facing off against the armies of Fallen minions.
