Wikis are community projects, and thus have many different editors with many different philosophies as to how the wiki should be managed, expanded, modified, and represented, and like all communities with multiple points of view, conflicting views are inevitable.
This page provides links to the various conflicting philosophies of troping with the intention to not only inform as their differences, and regardless of these different views, those who hold them can still cooperate for the mutual betterment of the wiki with greater understanding of those differences.
