Unbreakable/Nightmare Fuel

While we don't see the actual crash, the movie still makes it scary. In the beginning, we see the train shaking up and increasing in speed. David is watching and sees among most things, one of the passengers holding onto the seat arm tight. The sounds getting louder and louder while he gives a look realizing what is gonna happen and just as the sounds reach their peak it cuts to the next scene. That alone can put anyone watching on edge because they don't know what happened and it's frightening them. Said next scene is Joseph goofing off and flipping through channels, before reaching the news station. The train scattered all over the tracks and surrounding field. Joseph himself gets scared, thinking something bad has happened and rushes to the kitchen bulletin board. There is an orange post-it on the board that says "Dad Eastrail #177 3:40 PM." The name and number of the train matching what he saw on the news ticker. Later David wakes up none worse for wear in a hospital while the doctor looks him over. The camera is placed in a way that we barely see another patient, breathing heavily while two doctors are working on him. The sheet slowly filling up with blood while the doctor describes to David what happened to them both. The doctor's tone expresses disbelief when David reveals he was seated on a spot on the train where it should have killed or at least horribly maimed him.

David Dunn: Why are you looking at me like that?
Doctor: Your train derailed. Some kind of malfunction. We only found two people alive so far. You and this man. His skull was cracked open and most of his left side was crushed. And to answer you're question. There are two reasons why I'm looking at you like this. One, because it seems in a few minutes, you'll officially be the only survivor of this train wreck and two because you didn't break one bone. You don't have a scratch on you.
