Regardless of all the nitpicky stuff I've posted to you over the last month or so, the staff is aware that you've been doing a great job with lots of high-quality original contributions (not to mention structural stuff like the category corrections you've been making on images), and we really appreciate it. As a result, we've granted you membership in the autopatrolled and automoderated groups. That means your contributions will be applied directly to the wiki, without having to wait for a moderator to review them first, and they won't need to be "patrolled", which is a second, lesser level of "someone make sure this edit is good" built into the wiki software.

I wouldn't exactly say this is an exclusive club you've just been given membership in, but you've certainly earned it much faster than usual. Congratulations!

Wanted to tack on an additional "thanks for everything you've done" for filling in so many redlinks and disambiguating works - if there's any "critique" I could offer, it's that it might be worth sticking in the summary for the appropriate edits that you're splitting off works into independent pages (though a look at Recent Changes tends to clarify that regardless, and ultimately it's your call!)

I just noticed that you renamed The Batman (film) to Batman (serial) to make way for a page for the new film.

Please don't do this without asking first. Page renames are serious business, as they can break all manner of links, onsite and offsite, coming to the page. They are only done after discussion, unless it's a mod fixing something that needs fixing.

Further, you made bad choices in your new names, something you would not have done if you had asked first. Our preferred way to handle this particular kind of case would be to add the year to the media type -- "The Batman (1943 film)" and "The Batman (2021 film)" would be the proper naming conventions, with a new page at "The Batman (film)" to disambiguate between them. As soon as I'm done here I'm going to actually fix that, so don't be surprised if you don't find things where you expect them.

In the future, if you think something major like this needs doing, ask first on the talk page and flag the admins by adding the {{admins}} template to the message.

EDIT: One other thing you didn't do properly -- you left the old categories in place. Among the categories every top-level page has is one with the same name as the page; here you left all the old categories unrenamed, so multiple different works are all categorized as the same work. This makes for confusion and sometimes problems in searching. I will also fix this.

EDIT 2: You also did not change the DEFAULTSORT tag on the various pages so that they would sort properly with relation to other things called "The Batman". Again, casual page renaming breaks many many things.

I promise not to rename without the admins' permission.

Can you add the URL for the original image at Wikipedia to the page description, please?

Thanks!

Thank you!

And if anything gets changed (for example, changing "Live Action TV" to "Live-Action TV", which I did on dozens of pages yesterday), the {{worksubpagefooter}} template will catch that change automatically - saving even more effort in the future.

Thanks for making a new page of that work, can you help us further by finding the tropes on Sly Cooper that are about the 2nd game and move (as in copypaste but also delete the example on the Sly Cooper page so that it only appears on Sly 2.) that to the new article? Thanks. Thanks for the contributions so far.

Good first try at an article, we appreciate the attempt to expand this wiki. And good-faith attempt at not copying TV Tropes wholesale.

However, I need to inform you that the fact that some of the tropes were redlinks (meaning we either don't have them or have them under a different name) was an example that you were a little bit too close, and so I removed those examples. Please take note in the future.

Happy contributing!
