Please create new trope candidates in the Trope Workshop

Please do not create new tropes in the main wiki namespace. I have moved your new trope, Boy Meets T-Girl, into the Trope Workshop, where it will remain until it has acquired a minimum of 8 to 10 examples and receives a consensus that it is ready to go live.

The Trope Workshop can be reached from the menu along the left edge of any wiki page; it's the second item under "Troping Utilities".

Just for future reference...

@Carlb, We do not create categories for Trope Workshop candidates until they are launched. That way if they fail, we do not have an unused category littering the wiki.

Could you please sign your posts with four tildes ~~~~ and add new comments to talk pages at the bottom, not the top? Your current signature has no date, which makes it difficult to determine what are new (or recent) comments and what's old stuff. As for Trope Workshop:Think of the Advertisers!? It looks to already have the minimum of 8 to 10 examples; what's the next step in taking it live? Carlb (talk) 18:06, 18 July 2019 (UTC)

First, the examples need to be cleaned up so that they look like All The Tropes examples instead of Wikipedia examples. (We don't usually add citations to our entries, unless they're needed to explain - not justify - contentious edits.) Second, the page needs to receive "a consensus that it is ready to go live". (Unless everybody is saying Just Launch It Already, we usually give at least three days after the last example was added, and usually more.) After that, the section headers without any examples and the trope workshop template need to be removed before the page can be launched. Only then is it time for the launch and the creation of the associated category. --Robkelk (talk) 20:39, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
