On rewriting the Adolf Hitler page

I'm back from a sabbatical I had to take for personal reasons and will remain here for the foreseeable future. That said, let's make something clear.

You may take some or all of the page and copy it to your sandbox for rewriting such portions as you deem fit, but before any of those edits, in whole or in part, can be ported back to the original page, I will be the one to personally inspect them. World War II history is a keen interest of mine, and I believe objective fact should always trump over bias, and if you can cite things counter to the narrative Hitler was absolutely evil and I can verify your sources have a valid historical backing, I will approve those edits, and if I have to I will track down and acquire your sources to ascertain the facts myself.

Otherwise, any edits deemed to not be verifiable or were poisoned with bias will not be approved under any circumstance.

That said, please let me know when you are ready to proceed.

Thank you. Objective, ubiased, and impartial truth is all I care about. History is written by the victors.

Sounds good to me, I look forward to the fruits of your scholarship.

On the history is written by the winners comment, that is actually quite true. Karl Doenitz was able to successfully defend himself against the charge of war crimes (for unrestricted submarine warfare) with proof the British and Americans were guilty of much the same at Nuremburg, which spiked a huge nail in the argument the Nazis were the only ones who played fast and loose with the laws of warfare on the high seas.

As noted elsewhere, I'm overruling Geth and Rob here. We've come across your history of blatant Hitler fanboying and Nazi apologism elsewhere. We don't want that here. You've been permbanned.
