I've just undone your edit to SuperMarioLogan/YMMV because it was text copied word-for-word from the MoralEventHorizon/SuperMarioLogan page on TV Tropes. This is copyright violation -- TV Tropes and All The Tropes have different Creative Commons licenses, and as a result we cannot legally use TVT content from after July 2012. Unless you were the only person to ever work on that page and can grant us a license to its entire content, the material you copied cannot be used here. Consequently it has been deleted in order to protect the wiki from legal liability.

You are free to recreate the deleted material completely in your own words. Before you do, though, we would recommend that you review the following pages that you may find helpful:

Finally we strongly recommend that you read How We Do Bans Around Here. This isn't a threat -- this is the wiki policy strictly controlling how and when user bans can be applied by an Admin. It is, however, sadly necessary to inform you that by the guidelines on that page, you are the recipient of a formal warning. Further attempts at copyright violation will be met with a temp ban.

It was also lacking all the markup necessary to integrate the it into the wiki as a functioning page. Even if its contents had been entirely original, that alone would have been sufficient to merit rejection of the edit. Can you back up your claim to be the author of that segment?

He can't. Review of the history of the original TVT page shows at least two different contributors to the passage in question over the course of several years, so he can't be the "sole" author. Then there's the obvious clue that the plagiarized text is actually literate and uses capitalization and punctuation, whereas IACM's communications to us wouldn't pass first grade grammar. IACM has shown both bad faith and a willingness to put the wiki at risk via copyright violation. Therefore per How We Do Bans Around Here, Section 2.1 "Grounds for a permanent ban without warning on the first occurrence", Bullet one, "Using the wiki to break the law", I am imposing a permanent ban on I add complete monsters.
