  • The shadows as a group start off as emotionless copies of the students, but develop SlasherSmiles very, very quickly until they're actively going out of their way to break their originals and everyone they love.
  • Shadow!Grenn's prosthetics are just a little bit too creepy.
  • After he and shadow!Mei slaughter their originals, Gino's shadow drags around his still-warm body specifically so it can find Suzaku and break him with it.

"HAHAHA... who wants to plaaaaay....?"

  • Shadow!Sulu has a thing for treating whomever is in his path like a particularly stupid little rabbit he is hunting.
  • Oichi is killed by a tiger with eye lasers. Her brain catches fire.
    • Oh, and the entire building of dead and wounded is lit up by said tiger. Ouch.
  • The effects of grabbing a sword by the blade and holding on tight are described in unnecessary detail.
