"(Senbonzakura)'s enduring popularity is kind of an enigma all of its own though. It's initial boom was one thing, a lot of Vocaloid songs get popular, spawn utatte/odotte/hiite mita fads that go on for a few months before fading and being replaced by something else. Senzaku however, not only gained massive mainstream popularity in Japan (I believe it was No#1 requested karaoke song in the country for a while) but also just hasn't left the Vocaloid community alone.
