A WikiDragon is a troper that usually exhibits at least three of the following behaviors:

    • Edits are often dramatic, bold or grandiose.
    • Often does not give close attention to grammatical or spelling details.
    • Spends hours after hours (or whatever time is needed) on Google Books or a similar site doing research for an article.
    • Focuses on a single article intensely.
    • Taking a single strafing run, making a great number of smaller changes to a vast array and number of articles in short order.
    • Somewhat often thought of by members of other WikiFauna to be rash, overly critical and ungrateful in their edits, at least in their youth.

Like the dragons of yore, there are many stories of WikiDragons, oftentimes portraying them as bold yet intimidating beings. While this is to some extent true, they are not inherent evil or malicious and some of the fears held about them have been exaggerated.

The truth about them is as follows:

    • Most to all WikiDragons try to make a large amounts of well intentioned, if somewhat bold and not well planned edits and changes to the wiki. This is mostly due to their feelings that they must act decisively to improve the wiki, and that they often have no time to contemplate the consequences of those changes.
    • They are not opposed to friendship with most WikiFauna, but they tend to rub most WikiFauna the wrong way due to their fierce, intimidating dispositions, and they don't take being annoyed well, so WikiFauna are advised to not go out of their way to anger a WikiDragon, but also to not take it personally if a WikiDragon is easily offended at edits they don't feel are beneficial.
