Tasha Godspell

Tasha Godspell is a Black Class Witch Hunter and the second diciple of Edea Florence. At the beginning of the series, his goal is to find his sister Aria, have her remove the curse she placed upon him and take her home to their mother. Obsessed with making money, Tasha's a proud swindler and rather stingy. His capacity for kindness only seems to surface in the company of women. The Great Witches East and North consider him instrumental to their respective plans, as either the savior or destroyer of humanity.

His Magic Bullet Gun can fire three types of ammunition: Piercing, Grenade, and Tranquilizer. His Arcane Desert Eagle Custom can fire the equivalent of 10,000 bullets in a single shot. In addition to mana bullets, Tasha can also fit standard bullets into his guns. His Dimensional Gallery stores his guns and regulates the flow of mana to his body. He later overrides its limiter to achieve White Class strength at the cost of his sanity.

Tasha's supporter. It takes the form of a doll with a pumpkin's head and fights using two swords, Yin and Yang. Though loyal to its master, Halloween isn't above attacking him in retaliation for an insult. It originally sported two seals in the form of padlock necklaces, one of which was broken during a skirmish with Ryu Hwan. In human form, Halloween summons her blades from the clothes issued to her at HQ. According to East, has the potential to become stronger than Varete or Ryuhwan. It is heavily implied that she harbors romantic feelings for Tasha.

Xing Bairong

Xing is a Black Class Witch Hunter, known for his superhuman speed and shameless skirt-chasing. He dislikes the company of any man except Tasha, claiming to prefer women with 'sexy bodies'. His hobby is collecting sunglasses.

His real name is Prince Yue of Bairong, identical triplet to princes Lee and Xing. He was named the Emperor of Bairong, but exchanged names and lives with the mild-mannered Xing to pursue his dream of roaming the world. Three years later (present timeline), he returns to find the Empire has fallen to a now-evil Lee, not to mention that Xing is not happy with his departure.

Taras Doberg

Taras is a Black Class Witch Hunter, he has power over Earth and is seen as egotistical and refers to himself with the suffix -nim(Korean equivalent of -sama). He is skilled and while under the control of a witch even Tasha and Xing could not defeat him. His personality constantly antagonizes many people, which has Tasha tease him by calling him an extra and noting how he was defeated by his little sister, being controlled by a Witch and owes him half his paycheck. He was suppose to be an unnamed extra according to the author, but they expanded his role. His hobbies include gardening, he likes receiving praise and the plants he grows and hates being ignored.

His sister is Tania, the S-Class Administrator of the North and the only person he fears.

Tania interrupts Tasha's fight with Lancelot and forces him to retreat without much effort. Tasha said he and Taras were a team, which prompted Tania to give him a lollipop. She mistook Tasha as a girl at first.

After the townsfolk shun her for her newfound powers, Tasha brings her to HQ, where Eclipse Shadenon takes her as a student. Until she was Demoted to Extra, she seemed to be Tasha's Designated Love Interest.

It is later revealed however that he is actually working for North as a spy.

He fights her and nearly gets killed, but Palgeuk interrupts and thus both stop fighting. Vihyungrang is currently away training.

East

East is a powerful witch which interferes with the North Witch's plan, though her intentions are unknown. She was once one of the four great witches.

One of the great 4 witches, she guides Tasha and protects him, urging him to get stronger for her own goals. Her current form is smaller than before, stating she has lost a lot of her power, but unlike most witches she doesn't need a hat to store her mana. She also knew Tasha's teacher and Ryuhwan. She asks Ryuhwan to make a contract with her in exchange for the name of the one who killed his teacher; she also knows Halloween's true identity. She reveals to Vihyungrang how Tasha is needed by both her and North, but views him as a tool and key that has no purpose once used and he'll disappear in the end. This leads to a battle between the two.

Her supporter is the Fiery Earth of Musphelheim's King, Surtr. He's so powerful even Ryuhwan stated he had no chance against it in his released limiter form. He had to be supplied with Mana to fight Vihyungrang, which drastically changed the flow of the battle.

Bairong Empire

A Korean-inspired empire, home of Yue. The leadership of this empire is chosen by the White Dragon spirit, who inhabits whoever is the current emperor. The current royal family consists of the emperor and his three sons, Lee, Yue and Xing. Three years prior to the start of the story, Yue was chosen as the next emperor, starting an era of strife in the royal family.

The Emperor Bairong

The Bairong emperor, at least until he chose Yue to be his successor (theoretically). In truth he is not a single person, but the spirits of all Bairong emperors from since its founding inside his current vessel. He provoked Lee into attacking Yue as the latter was not chosen as the next emperor. Later during Xing's rule, he played Treacherous Advisor to the young emperor, eventually driving the youngster to hate his own brother. by the time Yue pays a visit to Bairong, he has possessed Xing and wants to kill Lee and Yue, but is later killed by Lee.

Lee

Yue's older brother. He wanted to be emperor, but was not chosen by the White Dragon spirit. Disappointed, he, after being given 'suggestion' from the current emperor, attempted to oust Yue, but has yet to succeed for three years.

Xing's real name. The very night after he was chosen as the next emperor, he was almost assassinated, and during this time he also learned the true nature of the emperor.

Yue's personal guardian since when he was still a prince. She tends to hide her true strength, surprising many people who actually see her fight.

Xing

Yue's younger brother. He reluctantly accepted the throne when Yue decided to leave Bairong. He was targeted by an assassin after ruling for just one year, but made peace with the assassin, named Eun Sul Hwa, and ended up falling in love with her. Some time after, she was murdered, essentially causing Xing's Start of Darkness.

Eun Sul Hwa

A palace maid who actually held grudge against the empire due to the death of her family at the hand of the emperor's Praetorian Guard, the Black Raven, and tried to assassinate Xing because of that. Not only she did fail, she ended up falling for Xing and was promoted to be his personal maid. She was later murdered.
