• Ensemble Darkhorse:
  • Toshimi Minami - If the sheer amount of fanart featuring her and dating back to the very beginning of the series is any indication.
  • Megumi Mutou
  • Harumi Ootaka - Surprisingly popular despite only appearing in three games. Die hard fans of the series were clamoring for her return in the Survivor games, but no dice.
  • Noel Shiraishi - The most popular of the new face trio introduced in Survivor, and a surprisingly popular character overall.
  • Mikoto Kusanagi and Haruka Date - Both largely due to being of the Shrinking Violet archetype.
  • Shizuku Himuro - Boasts the greatest popularity out of all of the collaboratively designed characters from Survivor.

• Les Yay:
  • Riyu Kikuchi - The sheer amount of fangirling she does over Mighty Yukiko eventually began to tinge her character with shades of it.
  • Megumi Mutou and Chigusa Yuuki, due to their Romantic Two-Girl Friendship.
  • Azusa Nakamori and Foxy Maho.
• That One Boss:
  • Darkstar Chaos - Frequently a pain in the player's side due her naturally high stats and luck in card draws.
  • Chris Morgan - With nearly maxed out attributes in every category, you're going to need an absurd amount of luck in order to beat her in just about any incarnation of the game...
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks: A portion of the fanbase had this reaction when noted artist Homare was brought in to redesign practically every foreign wrestler (as well as providing a design for one of new Japanese characters) for Survivor 2. Aside from the fact that his somewhat more realistic art style clashes greatly with the cartoony styles of the other contributing artists and is somewhat jarring; the costume design choices used lean heavily towards being outright Stripperiffic even by Professional Wrestling standards.
• The Woobie:
  • Blade Uehara - Goes through more sheer misfortune than practically every other character in the series.
