Xiaolin Showdown/Characters

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Characters from Xiaolin Showdown include:

The Xiaolin Dragons

Omi

"Welcome, my new and strangely attired friends!"

Voiced by: Tara Strong

The precocious Dragon of Water, Omi believes himself to be the greatest Xiaolin warrior and the leader of the team. Indeed, he believes himself to be the greatest warrior on the planet, period. Socially inept and comically oblivious, Omi's flaws are many - but his youth, his deep and abiding love of his friends, and his actual combat prowess make him loveable anyway.

According to the Bird of Paradise, his finest quality is loyalty.

Raimundo Pedrosa

Voiced by: Tom Kenny

The brash and impulsive Dragon of Wind, Raimundo appears at first glance to be cocky, irresponsible, and lazy, his primary concern being his own amusement. However, beneath his sly, sarcastic exterior hides a serious young man who is fiercely loyal to both his friends and his ideals, but also extremely frustrated with his own perceived failures.

According to the Bird of Paradise, his finest quality is kindness.

Kimiko Tohomiko

"I am so all about absolute focus- and I never met an accessory I couldn't HANDLE!"

Voiced by: Grey DeLisle

The warm-hearted but hot-headed Dragon of Fire, Kimiko is intelligent and independent. The daughter of a wealthy Japanese businessman, she is accustomed to getting what she wants, be it the latest fashions or the newest technology. However, she never uses that as an excuse to tread on people (not that she's never mean), and in truth, she's more interested in proving that she can hold her own as well as the boys.

According to the Bird of Paradise, her finest quality is courage.

Clay Bailey

"Here you go. Think I shaved a few seconds off your record, Omi."

Voiced by: Jeff Bennett

The pragmatic, level-headed Dragon of the Earth, Clay is undeniably the nicest of the Xiaolin warriors. Like his element, Clay is steady, strong, and straightforward. Chivalrous and shy, Clay appears to most as a Gentle Giant - just don't mess with his friends or his hat.

According to the Bird of Paradise, his finest quality is strength.

Clay: (Self-consciously tipping his hat after destroying a Jack-bot by letting it ram into his chest.) It's not your weight, it's... how you throw it around.

Clay: Whoo, looky there! A triple Salchow! (Beat) What? A cowboy can't like figure-skatin'?

Xiaolin Monks

Master Fung

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with but a single step." "Where do you get all these, anyway?" "I have a desk calendar."

Voiced by: Rene Auberjonois (first season), Maurice LaMarche

Dojo Kanojo Cho

Voiced by: Wayne Knight

Grand Master Dashi

Voiced by: Tom Kenny

Master Monk Guan

"I wouldn't celebrate your victory just yet."

Voiced by: Jeff Bennett

The Heylin

Jack Spicer

Voiced by: Danny Cooksey

The main villain of the first season, Jack Spicer, Evil Boy "Genious", is a petulant, spoiled rich kid with a talent for building mechanical contraptions. He's dreamed of world conquest for as long as he can remember, but that might have something to do with his socialite parents busying themselves with parties instead of parenting. By the second season, it's clear that Jack just wants to be taken seriously - something easier said than done.

Wuya

"There must be other competent humans in this realm I could work with..."

Voiced by: Susan Silo

The true Big Bad of the first season, Wuya is a 1,500 year old Heylin witch who is more than a little irritated about being trapped as a ghost inside a puzzle box for much of that time. After Jack Spicer releases her, she guides him towards the Shen Gong Wu in an effort to regain her full power and mortal form (and subsequently take over the world). Ruthless and self-serving but also short-sighted, Wuya will betray anyone to achieve her goals, except that one kid who betrayed her, oh what was his name again... The saddest part is that she actually DIDN'T SEE IT COMING!!!

Chase Young

"I do have a... certain reputation."

Voiced by: Jason Marsden

The Big Bad of the second season, Chase Young is charismatic, intelligent, and manipulative, a much darker villain than either Jack or Wuya. 1500 years ago, he was convinced to drink the Lao Mang Long soup, which granted him power and immortality. As a catch, it also turned him evil and gave him the "ability" to become a draconic creature, not always by choice. Skilled in both Kung Fu and Heylin magic, Chase disdains those who would use a "crutch" like the Shen Gong Wu; that said, Chase is something of a visionary and is not without a sense of honor.

Hannibal Roy Bean

"Aw, I almost feel pity for the po' boy. Almost."

Voiced by: Tom Kenny

Part of a Big Bad Ensemble with Chase Young in season three, Hannibal Roy Bean is an evil, living bean. An adept reader of others' motivations and emotions, Hannibal prefers to toy with people to achieve his aims. With a Southern drawl and a friendly demeanor, Hannibal's machinations seem to be building to a greater Evil Plan... not that we ever get to see it.
