- Crowning Moment of Awesome: 2008 Yatterking. Seriously, a hose sword that can rip through metal, and water blasts that are explosive.
- Crowning Moment of Funny: in the 2009 movie, the Doronbo Gang reacts surprised and quite creeped out when they hear the voices of their voice actors in the original series from some people they're scamming.
- Ear Worm: The first theme song will stay on your head forever. Uuuuuu wan wan wan Uuuuuuu jin jin jin...
- Ensemble Darkhorse: The Doronbo gang, especially Doronjo, Boyacky, Tonzura and Odate Bute. It's part of the reason of why they are in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
- Italians Love Yatterman: Yes they do. As noted below, Italy is the only country in the world where all the episode of the series (called Yattaman over there) were bought and dubbed. Not only that: reruns of the show were very common on local channels, DVDs of all episodes were sold and you can still find a handful of dedicated cosplayers of the main characters at the Italian conventions. There were even plans of a fan-made new installment of the Time Bokan series, but sadly it never came to be.
- Yatterman loves Italy too: the final battle of the 2009 movie is fought in the Southern Alps. Guess where the Southern Alps are?
- Same goes for Poland - somehow the Italian dubs of two series of Time Bokan found their way to a Polish TV stations. If you grew up in the nineties, chances are that this was the first anime you've watched.
- Most Wonderful Sound: Yatterwan's "WAOOOOOOOOO!" and the theme song for the Surprise Mecha attack.
- Needs More Love: While certainly true in North America, in Japan Yatterman is a cult classic.
- Sequel Displacement: It can be argued that Yatterman is the most popular installment in the entire Time Bokan series. I mean, you don't see the original Time Bokan getting a revival or a movie, do you?
- Toy Ship: Of a very young Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
- Ugly Cute: Boyacky and Tonzura.
- What Do You Mean It's for Kids?: It is, despite the nudity and the fanservice.
