YouTube Recommendations
This is a list of recommendations made by Tropers for YouTube videos. Feel free to recommend your favorite videos here, but please follow the preferred template found below.
Bear in mind that recommendations are subjective, so if you want to question or discuss any given recommendation you should do so on the appropriate discussion page. If you want people to watch the video you're recommending, you should put some effort into writing the description. Sell us the video, but don't inflate it; we're striving for some quality stories here, so if you have difficulties with making it look interesting, maybe it wasn't that good in the first place.
In addition, you will notice that the tropers have signed their recommendations. Somebody has to vouch for them, so if a given recco isn't backed up by anybody, it will be Zapped (wiki). After a few samples, you will be able to note the interests of the tropers recommending them, and judge whether you might be also interested in a certain video.
Reviews of videos are encouraged, but if you choose to write one, please make it substantive, and give specific details about what you liked / disliked in the video. If you want to give a video a thumbs-up without writing a full review, you can add your troper handle to the Recommended by line.

- Notable Works: She does AMV's, which include Evacuate The Dance Floor, Hot N Cold, (A Sakura and Sasuke AMV) Hit Me Up, (A Naruto and Sakura AMV) and Poker Face.
- Notable Works: Snarky and cynical towards things in pop culture. Mainly famous for pissing off numerous scene kids in her videos blasting BrokeNCYDE and Blood On The Dance Floor, which were released over a year ago, yet are still getting flak from the kids. She also was mentioned in a rebuttal from ARK Music Factory regarding her commentary on it and Rebecca Black.
- Notable Works: Her best works include a combination of Linkin Park and Across the 2nd Dimension and using Skillet to portray a literal internal conflict.
- Comments: All of her videos were made using Windows Movie Maker.
- Notable Works: Creates mind-blowing music videos by taking clips from 1080p movie trailers, and editing them together to "flow" with whatever music has been chosen. ("I make music move.") The result is an exhilarating experience for the viewer. Best works: The Apple Tree Feat. The Glitch Mob (the first installment of Project Inertia; uses a wide variety of mostly well-known, mostly action films, and four songs by The Glitch Mob), DubWars: First Strike (the second installment of Project Inertia; described as "The Apple Tree's twisted twin sister", uses 13 dubstep songs. Due to the nature of dubstep, the clips used are almost exclusively dark, edgy, and/or gory and taken from sci-fi and horror movies; also due to the nature of dubstep, there is occasionally some Narm Charm), Virtualis Magikus - Harry Potter Music Video feat. Virtual Boy (uses "Hedwig's Theme (Virtual Boy Remix)" with clips from the first seven Harry Potter films), TRON: Legacy - "Rerezzed" - Feat. The Glitch Mob (a Tron-inspired video using The Glitch Mob's "Animus Vox"; earned praise from Tron: Legacy producer Sean Bailey; unlike in the other videos listed here, the original audio is left in most of the clips, which in this case actually enhances the experience), and Rerezzed: Legacy - The Glitch Mob / Daft Punk Derezzed Remix Music Video (another Tron-inspired video using Daft Punk's "Derezzed (The Glitch Mob Remix)"). Be warned that The Apple Tree and DubWars are both fifteen minutes long, so either watch them one song at a time (which diminishes the experience) or set aside some time.
- Comments: Khameleon808 says about The Apple Tree, "It is not intended to tell a story. I didn't edit it that way. I wanted to relate sound to motion. So each and every cut you see was picked for a reason." This applies to all his videos. The Apple Tree inspired this Harry Potter tribute video, which uses The Glitch Mob's "Animus Vox"; the quality isn't nearly as good but it's still worth a watch.
