Agitated Item Stomping

A character is very angry about an item, or is just annoyed at an item that's been causing a lot of trouble for everyone. What's the best thing to do? Just throw the item on the ground, and for the final dash of flavor on the top, start stomping the item flat like there's no tomorrow.

May be done as a part of Ring Ring CRUNCH. Not to be confused with Curb Stomp Battle.

In one episode of the Little Lulu anime, Tubby does this with a bouquet of flowers that Lulu gave him earlier, once the others discovered the bouquet.

Live-Action TV

A Running Gag on El Chavo del Ocho, with Don Ramon stomping on his hat whenever he's angry.
Buffy did this to Giles' glasses once, trying to break out of a Groundhog Day Loop. It didn't help.

Web Comics

In Tales of the Questor, a kit stomps all over his hat. He's agitated because his hat is on fire.

Western Animation

This also shows up in the Gummi Bears episode "Music Hath Charms", at the end when the Gummis all begin stomping on the magic bagpipes that Igthorn used to control everyone in Dunwyn.
Amos Slade throws his hat to the ground and starts stomping on it in The Fox and the Hound.
On SpongeBob SquarePants, Squidward gets so angry at SpongeBob that he snatches his hat and stomps on it. Turns out SpongeBob is Crazy Prepared and always carries a lead brick under his hat for just such an occasion.
The moon redneck in Futurama did this with his space helmet.
In a House of Mouse episode, Mickey, Donald and Goofy go to the phone company, and end up tearing an intercom off the wall and stomping on it.

Video Games

Final Fantasy Tactics has a character take their hat off and stomp it. What makes this notable is the game is fully sprite based, and every frame of the animation is used exclusively for this event, as opposed to Going Through the Motions.
In the first Donkey Kong Country, Diddy would do this to his hat if he failed a bonus game. He also did this at least once in the TV series.
In the multi-player vs. games in Star Fox Assault: Any player who plays as Wolf O'Donnell and loses will be given an animation of him angrily throwing his blaster on the ground and stomping it.
At the end of Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis, Robotnik is shown stomping on the words "The End".
Inverted in Dead Space 2, wherein stomping on the bodies of the necromorphs is often one of the best ways to dismember them, but you can keep on stomping at the chunks, and stomping, and Isaac will start cursing a blue streak, implying that the continued violence is more catharsis than practicality.
