The phrase "and are not porn" has been in the list of criteria for a free launch since we inherited this page from TV Tropes. Should it remain?
All The Tropes talk:Works Pages Are a Free Launch
No. Had I noticed it earlier, I would have deleted it without even asking.
Plus, any porn that inspires someone to actually write a page for it is likely to have some artistic value somewhere worth analyzing. For instance, I've been intending for years to write a page for The Opening of Misty Beethoven because it's basically Pygmalion with explicit sex. On the other hand, a 15-minute plotless loop of the kind that porn evolved into on the Net likely has nothing in it to analyze.
Well, there's always IKEA Erotica and Porn Without Plot for that type of porn.
True, but that's often all you can say about such works.
We're already suggesting listing three tropes before launching a work page, so I don't see this as an issue.
