Trivia about My Apartment Manager is not an Isekai Character includes:

• Continuity Reboot: In 2022.
• Hey, It's That Guy!: Three of the writers – Brent, Rob and Bob – are also on the All The Tropes Moderation Staff... which makes this a Troper Work.
• I Do Not Own: Following the precedent set by Drunkard's Walk, a detailed listing of copyright/trademark ownership is provided on both the forum and the wiki. At least two of the authors are or were professional writers on the side, and scrupulously track down all such information.
• Loads and Loads of Writers: Anywhere from two to six at any given time, although by the end of 2022 the count appears to have stabilized near the high end of that range.
• Long Title: Meant to be evocative of Japanese light novel titles of the late 2010s, when the story was started.
• Name's the Same: While Rob Donaldson shares a name, a writer, and a few (but not all) distinguishing characteristics with "Robu-san" Donaldson in Isekai by Moonlight, they are not the same character.
• Shout-Out:
  • The title of the first chapter of the first story, "Present Day. Present Time. HaHaHahA!", is a repeated line from Serial Experiments Lain.
  • Also in the first chapter of the first story, Shinji Ikari's "wishlist" for what he wanted in a new world is made up of shout-outs to a dozen or so other works.
  • Tomo Eric and the Dread Gazebo and It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, both at the Halloween party.
  • This very wiki, in the first story:

After a beat, he added, "And I just lampshaded that. All The Tropes has ruined my life."

• Moving Days, Part I offers several:

• After an instance of With a Capital T, the narrator goes on to add a call out to The Music Man:

Over the next couple days we got Busy with a capital "B". (Which rhymes with "D", which stands for "Deadline"...)

• To 2001: A Space Odyssey: "My god, it's full of girls."
• "Well! That was a thing!" said by Bob after Belldandy departs is a deliberate reference to V1E8 of RWBY.
• Bob jokes that he needs to call out "Tetsuoooooo!" at Akira Wada of K-On! when he gets a chance.

• Undocumented Features gets an In-Universe tip of the hat in the form of the "publishing company" behind So You Just Arrived from a Parallel Universe, Circle Bacon.
• The "Transplanted Persons Services report" (not yet shortened to "TPS report" in-universe) that all building managers have to submit on a regular basis is straight out of Office Space.

• Talking to Themselves: Played With in that the story is in a text-based medium and thus doesn't have voice actors, but some characters had the same canon voice actor or seiyuu - anywhere from dozens of actors having played two characters each to Aya Hisakawa having voiced six-and-a-half of the characters in this story. There has been at least one scene of Ami Mizuno and Skuld talking with each other, and another scene lampshades the trope by referring to two of Kana Ueda's four characters in the setting:

Oh, you'll definitely fit in here, Ms. Ambler! You sound so much like our Rin Tohsaka that I wouldn't be surprised to learn that you were both played by the same voice actress.

• Watsonian Versus Doylist:
  • One character was magically twinned the in-universe day after she arrived. The Watsonian explanation is that she was alone, surrounded by people she was accustomed to thinking of as enemies, and desperate for somebody to talk with who understands her; the Doylist explanation is that two writers wanted to write the same character.
  • Similarly, one short-short story was written to give a Watsonian explanation for why Haruhi Suzumiya doesn't appear in the setting (despite being admirably suited to it), when the Doylist explanation is simply none of the authors wanted to write anything with her and her supporting characters.
• The Wiki Rule: It's hosted on Miraheze, of course. However, parts of the wiki -- including the unpublished story drafts -- are restricted-access; if you want access to those, you have to be a writer... or at least a pre-reader.
