Caitlin Blackwood is a Scottish actress who played the young Amelia Pond in ''[[Doctor Who (TV)|Doctor Who]]''. Her portrayal of the girl who waited for the Doctor to take her away was a big hit with audiences, who were very happy when she returned for the 2010 season finale. She is actually a cousin of [[Karen Gillan]], though the two did not meet until ''[[Doctor Who (TV)|Doctor Who]]'', and Caitlin auditioned for young Amelia at Karen's insistence. She returned in flashback, as well as holograms projected by the TARDIS and a prison for a [[Monster of the Week]] in series 6.
