* [[They Changed It, Now It Sucks]]: After going to national syndication, the Sunday strips, which had been hand coloured with watercolour paints, were now coloured the same way most other comic strips were, and the decline in quality was noticeable. Luckily, Richard Thompson's writing quality did not decline.
