* [[Fingore]]: One of Durant's calling cards is collecting people's fingers. In the sequel it clues Darkman in on who killed one of his friends.
* [[Properly Paranoid]]: In the second movie, when his plan starts to crumble, Durant in a fit of rage and fear tugs on a nearby henchman's face. While in any other movie involving a gang boss would see this as the boss losing it, Durant had every right to do so, due to knowing full well that Darkman can not only disguise himself; but could also currently pose as one of his henchmen.
