* All Drummers Are Animals: Zach Hill plays the hell out of those drums. On studio recordings, they tend to be distorted, brickwalled, chopped, and compressed to almost frightening degrees. When they play live, though, he produces all those sounds by absolutely brutalizing the drum kit.
* Angry Black Man: MC Ride,'s sois muchintense and he often screams his verses.
* Badass Beard: Again, MC Ride.
* Based on a Great Big Lie: Their cancelled Lollapalooza 2013 concert? They never planned on appearing there.
* Cloudcuckoolander: The whole band, or at least whoever's in charge of their internet presence.
* Sampling: From Link Wray's classic 60s hit "Rumble" to Arthur Brown's "Fire" to voice clips of Charles Manson.
* Digital Piracy Is Okay: They leaked their second album No Live Deep Web on their own, most likely because Epic Records didn't want to release it earlier than 2013. As a result, they got dropped from the label.
* Long Title:
** "You Might Think He Loves You for Your Money But I Know What He Really Loves You for It's Your Brand New Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat"
** "I Break Mirrors With My Face in the United States"
* Metaphorically True: The band "disbanded" in July 2014, announcing it on their Facebook page. They did stay inactive during the rest of 2014, but in early 2015, frequent updates about their music were posted online. In March 2015, the Twitter account @bbpoltergiest made announcement about the album The Powers That B and an accompanying tour. The band has since carried on as if the disbandment never happened.
* New Sound Album: The Money Store is a lot more refined and less angry, compared to Exmilitary. Still incredibly rough and bizarre compared to just about every other rap act out there, though.
* No Budget: Their music videos.
* Sampling: From Link Wray's classic 60s hit "Rumble" to Arthur Brown's "Fire" to voice clips of Charles Manson.
* Signature Song: "Guillotine".
* Soprano and Gravel: On the track "Lord Ofof Thethe Game", featuring Mexican Girl.
* Stylistic Suck: Their songs are intentionally brickwalled and compressed to a brutal degree, and their videos are about as close to a live-action Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff as you can get.
* X Meets Y: Public Enemy meets Industrial Metal. Some have taken to calling their particular style "Noise Rap".
