** A [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y98ukMekKdA riposte] (or [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLoeVQ28IRo kaeshi] if you must) can be like this. It's really cool if you pull it off, but if you mess up prepare to look stupid.
** [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W76VUwIC10Y A Fleche] in French fencing is like this. The attacker runs at his opponent, leaps and attacks, then runs past as he lands. If executed properly, it's almost impossible to parry. If done improperly, the attacker is wide open for a counterattack. * Ongoing NFL example: The Denver Broncos' signing of quarterback Petyon Manning and subsequent trading of immensely popular QB Tim Tebow to the New York Jets. Manning is one of the greatest [[Q Bs]]QBs in the league's history, but he is also coming back from a year off due to ''four'' surgeries on his neck. He's also 36 at the time of the signing. Tebow, meanwhile, was Denver's most popular player since John Elway (the current GM who pulled the trigger on both moves). This is the NFL equivalent of an "O'Hare Trade": If Manning makes a full recovery, the Broncos are an instant championship contender. If Manning shows his age or can't fully come back from injury, Elway is pretty much done as team president (and probably drags head coach John Fox with him).
