In the original this is a joke about his [[Verbal Tic]] reminding them of food <ref>He, and all Nopon, ends every sentence with も. He would often have a sentence that ended in い before the tic is applied, common due to most Japanese adjectives ending in い, and continually say いも (potato)</ref>. 8-4 and Treehouse kept all references to eating Tatsu, but the verbal tic or any explanation of these desires are completely absent.
