She made her feature film debut in Superbad. She then starred in the horror-comedy Zombieland in 2009. In 2010, Stone starred in Easy A, which earned her a nomination for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. In 2011, she was in the films Crazy Stupid Love and The Help, which both had critical and commercial success. Stone got more recognition for playing Gwen Stacy in the 2012 film The Amazing Spider-Man and its 2014 sequel. In 2016, she won numerous awards for her role in the film La La Land, including Best Actress at the Oscars. In 2017, she met Saturday Night Live writer Dave McCary and got married in 2020. She gave birth to their daughter in March 2021. |
