* [[Sonic the Hedgehog/Neutral Characters/Neutral Characters|Shadow the Hedgehog]] from the ''[[Sonic the Hedgehog]]'' series is a rather arrogant Type 2 when he's doing good things, which he does a lot more now since he saved the world in his own game. His friends consist of E-123 Omega, a homicidal robot, Rouge, a thief whom he pals up with when one wants something from the other, and Brutus, a crazed military commander. This could be attributed to the fact that Shadow's original self-given mission was a massive [[Roaring Rampage of Revenge]] that he was willing to destroy the world over. Afterwards, the same motive for that Rampage has become his Moral Compass... but he's still a [[Jerkass]] on a regular basis.
