It was traveling fast enough to have no discernible arc, yet - after it was thrown, there was time for A) a boy to notice it was thrown and yell a warning, B) another boy to grab a sword and toss it to Peter, and C) Peter to execute a 360-degree spinning attack to chop it in half. A hail-Mary 50-yard football pass doesn't take that long to reach its target. Does Peter have magical time-dilation powers?
