* [[Surprisingly Improved Sequel]]: To last year's Kamen Rider Wizard, which many considered to be one of the weakest Neo Heisei shows. Almost all problems with Wizard people have has been addressed here. Storyline overall is done in a more complex manner beyond just a cliche [[Monster of the Week]] plot, characters have more depth and development to them than just being there for the sake of it, the main characters is considered more likable, fights are more-or-less even between the good and bad guys, villains and monsters have more deeper depth to them than just [[Always Chaotic Evil]], etc. Not even halfway of its run, it is considered one of the best if not ''the'' best Kamen Rider series ever, in fact the definitive series of the franchise.
* [[Unpopular Popular Character]]: Kaito is a [[Jerkass]] almost no one likes, but among the fans he ranks near the top, rivaling Ryu of W's fame in popularity in the fans.
** Ryoma is a more straight example. Almost everyone in-universe hates him (even Kouta and Mai just can't stand his guts), but his quirks and badassery helped endear himself to the fans.
