Keiji Inafune: Difference between revisions

For starters, he was the co-creator of ''Rockman''/''[[Mega Man (video game)|Mega Man]]'' (alongside Akira Kitamura) and recently [[Franchise Zombie|split]] from [[Capcom]] to [[Start My Own|form his own company]] named Comcept.

 

Despite all the praise he deserves, he more or less had a long-term rivalry with Capcom's [[Money, Dear Boy|money-driven]] marketing for the Mega Man series, and this resulted in complete disregard to his wants, culminating in ''[[Mega Man X]] 6''-''X8'' and an altered plot to what Inafune had planned for the ''[[Mega Man Zero]]'' series. After more madness with the games and the production of ''[[Mega Man Legends]] 3'', Inafune [[Rage Quit|left]] the company, which caused ''[[Updated Rerelease|Ultimate]] [[Marvel vs. Capcom 3]]'' to be what it is now, and presumably also caused the [[Screwed by the Network|scrapping]] of Legends 3.
