Turns out someone spiked the punch at a fundraiser, they did a few things they might not have otherwise (Delia specifically [[Really Gets Around|did several]]), and neither one remembered anything the next morning.}}

So anyway, [[Children Are Innocent|Phanpy]] walks in on [[It Makes Sense in Context|Uncle Brother]] Pikachu going at it with a Weavile. Traumatized, he runs to Aunt Corsola for help, and walks in on ''her'' right in the middle of [[Lovable Sex Maniac|Crawdaunt's]] ''massive orgy''. You can [[Harmful to Minors|probably]] [[Blank White Eyes|imagine]] [[Heroic BSOD|what]] [[Trauma-Induced Amnesia|happens]] [[Crowning Moment of Funny|next]].

[[The Starscream|Mewgle's]] gambit to trounce everyone at the [[Gainax Ending|end]] backfires on himself ''and'' Deoxys and the universe is intact at the end. * [[Translation Convention]] - [[Word of God|Ri2]] says "For convenience's sake all Pokéspeak will be written in English. Just pretend the humans can't hear them, though".

** And then subverted when [[The Ditz|Chimecho's]] dialogue is translated...identically to his [[Pokémon-Speak]].

* [[Translator Microbes]] - Latias's telepathy allows Ash to understand and converse with his Pokémon. After Ash is {{spoiler|is selected as an honorary Chosen}}, he is fully capable of understanding Pokéspeak thanks to the [[A Wizard Did It|Unown]].

** Latias's translation extends to anyone who considers her a friend, thereby subconsciously giving her freer psychic access to their perception. She still has to [[The Voiceless|write things out]] for everyone else {{spoiler|prior to her [[Eleventh-Hour Superpower]]}}, and had to convince Misty that she wasn't a [[Interspecies Romance|rival for Ash's affections]] anymore before she could be let in on it.

** In-universe example. The Battle Palace's rules are amended for the Hoenn League Championships so the roles are reversed. The end result is something like mixed martial arts meets Pokémon battling. No, really.
