Let's Go Jungle!: Lost on the Island of Spice is a rail-shooter, in which [[Big Creepy
Ben and Norah, whose relationship is floundering, tour an island in Asia. However, they find that [[Attack of the 50
In the course of their adventure, Ben and Norah learn the story behind the island. According to a local boy of the island and a helicopter pilot, an environmental NGO called "Green Leaves" came to the island after it was devastated by war. Following the motto of "bring back the green", scientists of Green Leaves discovered a species of mushroom that possessed extraordinary biological regenerative properties. The scientists extracted and refined the mushrooms' essence, creating a powerful chemical extract that could accelerate biological growth. In cooperation with the island's natives, Green Leaves used the chemical extract to restore the island's fauna and flora within five years. However, it was later discovered that the extract's properties were too powerful, resulting in giant-sized animals, insects, and plants that have the capacity to harm humans. Green Leaves and many of the island's natives evacuated the island when events grew uncontrollable, although a number of natives decided to remain behind.

Gained a sequel called Let's Go Island: Lost In the Tropics set on an island whose wildlife has gone crazy. You play as a vacationing woman named Beth and her lackluster guide Zack as they get roped into combating them while having to deal with pirates who are only interested in getting treasure.

* Attack Its Weak Point: In order to damage the bosses effectively, you will need to shoot multiple targets on their body in a limited time. Failing to do so results in a lot of damage.
* [[Attack of the 50
* [[Big Creepy
* Blow You Away: The Giant Butterfly flaps its wings hard as a Desperation Attack, blowing off Ben and Norah from the helicopter. Cue the final Press X to Not Die Sequence...
* Bottomless Magazines: Your rapid-fire rifles will NEVER run out of ammo. A good thing, because you'll be swarmed with lots of Big Creepy Crawlies.
* Chekhov's Gun: At the end of the third stage, the little boy gives you his charm, which supposedly wards off the [[Big Creepy
* [[Co
** And to get the good ending? Yes, it all depends on one of those sequences.
** Note: A similar coop scoring system was seen in an earlier rail shooter from Sega, The Lost World.
Line 27:
* Golden Ending: To get the good ending where Ben and Norah secure their relationship, all you need is to succeed in the timed sequence. Don't miss.
* Golden Snitch: Getting the good ending for the game all boils down to whether you manage to succeed in the final Press X to Not Die timed sequence.
* Killer Rabbit: You've been fighting a Giant Spider, a giant frog (or giant mantis), and a Giant [[Man
* Life Meter: How health is measured. Can sometimes feel pointless when successful boss attacks can deplete more than half of both players' health. Also, see above Goddamned Bats.
* Ludicrous Gibs: The fate of the giant bullfrog boss when you defeat it? It explodes into a disgusting green goo all over Ben and Norah.
** The third stage's boss also gets blown up, but there aren't exactly any gibs, because it's a [[Man
* Made of Explodium: The locusts from the sequel explode into flames when defeated by co-operative shot.
* [[Man
* Piranha Problem: The River cruise stage has swarms of piranha fish that leap out of the water and try to attack the player.
* Press X to Not Die: Three kinds.
Line 40:
*** Guess which one the final sequence (that determines whether you get the Golden Ending or the Downer Ending) is?
* Pretty Butterflies: The Final Boss, of all things. But don't let that fool you, it will put the hurt on you with its ludicrous amount of hp, swarms of butterflies, cut you with its wings, and blow you off the damn helicopter!
* Recurring Boss: The [[Attack of the 50
** And in the sequel Let's Go Island, it's a giant octopus that does the same thing. Fridge Brilliance for the fact that both of them have eight legs...
* Ruthless Modern Pirates: Lampshaded. One of our heroes in the second game asks if the pirates they're trying to get away from in the first stage are of the romanticized ones of lore. The other explains that they most certainly are not.
* [[Seldom
* [[Shout
* [[Super
** And in the sequel, we have that huge octopus.
* Trick Boss: After reaching the end of the third level, your attacked again by a weakened, mushroom-infested Tarantula that jumps at you. After killing it it lands on the patch of plants... and the toxin spray from its corpse turn the plants into the real boss.
