The Midnight Wax Musuem has been having a hard time. Big-time tourist attractions are making their old, small family-owned business look like a shoddy tourist trap. Terry Barker, a young and ambitious newswoman, is asked to come write a Halloween feature on the wax museum before it closes. When the sun rises the next day, a corpse and a list of confusing suspects are found. Did the owners do it for publicity? Are the young employees responsible, or could one of the wax figures themselves have done it?

Midnight Wax is a play excerpted from L. Don Swartz's full-length play Fright Night (not related to the movie Fright Night).
