Her hatred of her father comes from the fact that he tried to control her and her sister, make them slaves to do whatever he wanted them to do. She almost did this to Shepard, when she attempted to plant a control chip into his/her brain while bringing him/her back to life. By ''[[Mass Effect 3]]'', she realizes this and feels unbearable guilt, telling Shepard how sorry she is for even considering it.
