My Life in the Bush of Ghosts: Difference between revisions

''My Life in the Bush of Ghosts'' is a book by Nigerian author Amos Tutuola. It concerns the misadventures of a largely [[Faceless Protagonist]], who, on an evening walk, takes a wrong turn and wanders into the [[Death World|Bush]] [[Hungry Jungle|of]] [[Reality Is Out to Lunch|Ghosts]]. He is then kidnapped by one of the Bush's inhabitants. [[It Got Worse|And another. And another.]] The remainder of the book consists of his (we'll call him Amos, for convenience) attempts to make a reasonable living and find his way out of the bush, although [[Cosmic Plaything|the decision is largely out of his hands]]. In the process, he becomes a bit of a local celebrity, changes hands more times than a baseball card, and incurs an [[The Chew Toy|extraordinary amount of physical harm]].
